Is it time for Nintendo to leave the console market?

If it really happens, I wonder what he (my friend) would do without Nintendo?

Nintendo first party games will likely to port to Xbox, PS3, PC, etc.

I don't think Nintendo will withdraw the console business because they are very popular in Japan.

Thanks~ I'll inform him soon. :)

Yeah most of the people in Japan are casual gamers, that's why Nintendo is popular in Japan.

What's if Nintendo will stop send console to USA since it's bad business with USA. :giggle:

It is very unlikely because Nintendo could survive to sell Wii U to North America under minority like Nintendo had done with N64 and Gamecube.

EA not developing anything for Wii U - GameSpot.com

Oh wow, EA said they dropped the online passes too.

Good. I had enough of their B.S. Their decision on not make games for Wii U is TOO EARLY although Wii U is only six months old.

Nintendo revealed their partnership with Best Buy, make new game demos available in selected store locations during E3 in order to capture more attention rather than isolated to E3.

It's probably because of the DLC crap.

Their new angle is microtransactions... look at Real Racing 3 to see just how awful it's going to be.

There's also a rumour of some kind of deal with Microsoft, but I think it's just a vague rumour.

I was never impressed with Wii U at first so I'm not surprised that Nintendo is sucking arse on this. I guess they aren't really learning much of anything from Microsoft and Sony who is really kicking Nintendo's ass at some point but oh well...whatever Nintendo do is their choice, even if that drive them out of business.

Remember.... Wii U is actual eighth generation, it's still early to tell. You cannot compare to M$ and Sony because those are 7th generation. Don't forget... they lost to Wii's.

If Mario Kart U releases so it should help Wii U a lot.

You cannot make comparison with Xbox 360/PS3 with Wii due to different marketing practice.

Nintendo receives a lot of support from Warner Bros and Ubisoft, however EA is on odd.

It's under 7th gen period.

Xbox and ps3 just improve graphic and Nintendo beyond. Now both are catch up on Wii and become better business. Who should we thank?... N-I-N-T-E-N-D-Oooooo

but marketing is very different - Xbox 360 and PS3 are popular for hardcore gamers.

You don't remember that Third-Party laugh at Wii when it was first launch then realize they make mistake by focus on Xbox 360 and PS3 on their first few years? LAME.

IF.... 3rd-Party took risk to put all games what Xbox 360 and PS3 have, then they'll cont doing on Wii U.

Right now, 3rd-party are doing the risk on Wii U. Now, Xbox One is doing the same as first Wii, include motion sense. sheesh.

Wii has technical limitation that caused third party to lost the interest with Nintendo - If Wii has similar powerful as Xbox 360 and PS3 so third party will happy to develop or port the game. Last time with equal technical was Super Nintendo - have similar powerful as Sega Genesis.
