Is hiring deaf employees good idea?

There are already prisons out there with programs for the disabled. It is not justificable to build prisons entirely for the disabled.

GREAT!!!Then when i get a letter from the social security adminstration tell me due to budget cuts we are unable continue providing you service. Thats when ill do this.

I know they already have very few prisons that
are accessible for people with disabilities; I actually meant
they should be MORE prisons with MORE accessibilites !!!!

Then you and Raven can write letters, lobbying for improved accessibility. You guys can go to prisons and visit there and collect all data then try to ask the state or federal prison officers to improve the system.
 
I work in a deaf-friendly atmopshere-- I have ... [counting] 4 deaf as my co-worker (included the boss) and three that do know ASL well and the whole department knows about us (we are cooped up in a SMALL office among scattered small offices) and they do socialize wiht us-- they work with us after all! most of us can lip-read and some of them do gesture while talking. if all else fail, we use paper and a pen! Classic but effective method!

I was lucky enough to grab the opportunity to work with them. There is a great team going at the department. No dirty eyes or looking down.

Back to topic, that's good news to hear. It is still long way for deafies to have the full access as hearies do...
