Because, as I am typing this, it is lightning like crazy, and it is a solid green color .... just wondering. :hmm:

Hail now ... geez, my local weather says it is "calm"

The weather guy needs to be FIRED!!!

Green lightning hints of hail same reference to green storm clouds. So where the lightning strikes as you seen with green colour is where actually hailing at that location.

The rain slacked and no more hail, but there is so much lightning it is having a strobe light effect. Some linger and it is so intense it is like daylight. Still green lightning and a green sky - some turquoise mixed in.

Awesome show though. (and it is entirely freaking out my dogs)

I spoke too soon, it came back with a fury. Wind gusts so strong it is shaking the whole house

Ok, dogs and owner freaking out :Ohno:

Yes, everything is fine. It was an intense storm and a lot of rain. Driving around and there is fallen trees here and there.

turn your computer off i been told lighting can strike telephone lines and hit you be careful

Ahh....something new?...Don't believe I've ever seen "green lightning"....but strange thing a few days ago while having a very thorough eye exam. I was seeing green spots, and the doctor was also green....freeked me out!...There's been a lot of lightning strikes here in Florida for the past week or so. At Vilano Beach (Florida), where one man was carrying his son (who had twisted his ankle), and was struck by lightning...he died, and his son is still in the hospital.....
