iPhone don't support 3G, only EDGE.

I prefer to use 3G.

yep, many pdas and smart phones are light years ahead of sidekick 3.
I can't even post on forums quickly on a sidekick. I can't playback videos and take high quality pictures on a sidekick 3. I can't set up push email of my preference on a sidekick 3. so I got everything I need to meet my demand on my 8525, and I post on the forums like here and some others on this like right now.

the 8525 is kinda like the worlds smallest computer. the same goes for the iphone, too.

WiFi is short range, unlike 3G.

I must have 3G when go wirelessly with high speed data.

iPhone's plan is little cheap for hearing to get than treo or blackberry.

If it does support 3G and same monthly bill then would be reasonable for hearing people.

unlimited data is at&t's standard for any phone is EDGE

you talk about high-speed wireless from what at&t offer, it's $79.99 for 3G unlimited data only :)

? there are various features from 20 bucks to 60 bucks for unlimited data plan only...

70 bucks for PC card if you meant ? if so, the price is the same with Sprint and Verizon's. pc card user can get 60 bucks a month if it comes with mobile under same wireless carrier.

if you have voice plan with the cheapest bucks like 40 dollars and u want unlimited data plan, then, yes, you can get 20 bucks for unlimted data plan(media max plan with 200 txt msgs). there are more than one unlimited data plan features... all can be used either 3G or EDGE. it depends on what mobiles people can afford.

as for deaf TAP users, we use medianet connection which is the unlimted data plan on their smartphone or pdas.

pretend I'm hearing and buy smartphone with unlimited data and voice. What happen when I "check out" at online. I see it's 19.99 unlimited data.

and I'm saying that iPhone's plan is little cheap.
 
yes it is good deal for iPhone's plan. i dont understand why this thread is brought up that is not for deaf members. lol.
