1. They don't believe that I was born with deformed face.
So I won't waste my time arguing with them.

2. People called me a troll. I am sorry for going off topic...
I am trying my best to learn what is on topic or off topic.
So let me use the other username and see if I can train myself
to stay on topic without people yelling at me and all.

3. Dixie thinks I should go get a job...
when I told her that nobody want to hire me cause of the way I look.

4. And if I do get hire, I would be so happy.
But I won't take cashier or any job that deal with clients and customers
cause they will stare and won't talk to me.

5. People think I am retarded.
I went to the Dentist office... and I asked for crown, extraction, cleaning...
the dentist refused to treat me unless she talked to my MOMMA!!!
And so me and mom went to Dentist next visit, and
the Dentist talked directly to my mom... and my mom did all the talking.
Like I can't talk for myself.
And I went to Walmart and did the "self check out", the cashier walked
over and helped me... cause she thinks that I am Retarded.

And my mom's friend who was 60 years old, tried to help me get up
the stairs....
She thinks that I got major health problem.... sigh!!!
She knows me since 10 years old, and she thinks that I can't walk up
the stairs by myself.
She thinks I am weak.
How uneducated people are about me.

And my Grand Uncle who had a down syndrome son, he pat on
my head like I am a dog.

And my Aunt was surprised that I can cook.

6. I don't want to show my pictures in here on the internet, cause
of cruel people.

7. Mosdeux and Mark {Mod Edit: Surname removed--} don't want to work with me, cause the way
I look. You can ask them yourself. I know I should just leave them
alone... If I were in their shoes, I would act the same way if
a person with a deformed face come along... I would tell her or him to
go away. I don't blame them.
I shouldn't get mad at them.

Would you do the same?

If a deformed face person comes to you for job or want to help with your
film project, would you turn him or her away, tell him or her to get lost?

8. I think it is best to stay at home with mom and live off SSI because
of the way I look... I think it is best that I stay out of the spotlight.
Cause people can be mean.
I went to restaurant with my sister and nephew... and
4 people were laughing and made fun of me at the table next to me.
And my sister got upset and told those people that they know better.


9. No I don't want attention or want people to feel sorry for me.
The reason all of this started in the first place is because
I was telling RavenSteven about my problem... cause he was
complaining that his life is over cause he is deaf... and
I was trying to make him feel better... and
everybody accused me of acting like RavenSteven...
But I was not... I was just telling RavenSteven how I am worse off than him.

10. Gary Coleman, a midget actor, had difficult time having relationship with a tall woman... because people made fun of her for dating a midget, and wonder
how she has sex with him.
And she is uncomfortable being around him. That is why Gary was in
trouble with cops for disturbance last week, he was argueing with his girlfriend about their relationship.

So how can I get a man to be with me.... put his arms around me...
without other people stareing??


I know that you guys don't understand my situation...
cause you guys don't have a deformed face....

Okay, that is all I have to say...

Okay... fine argue with me.

Or Alex and Mods go ahead and closed my thread and called me a troll.

The dean of my college has a facial deformity. Hasn't stopped him.

One of my high school friend has facial deformity as well as blindness all because of cancer. She is one of most sweet person you can meet and it hasn't stop her. She have to worry about whether if cancer will come back or not, but it hasn't stop her either. She made friends because of her personality, not her looks. So stop using yours as an excuse.

If anything it's your attitude that probably have turned people away, not your face.

No one is perfect and who cares?

I am sorry you feel this way. I had seen alot of people picking on low minded people or the way they looks. I still chat with them no matter what they look or how smart he/she is. Like for example Blade Runner in Alldeaf insulted deaf people "Low education deaf people" he insulted that to me too. I was very angry and pissed. I felt hurt by that but I realized that I have someone that cares about me is my finance and daughter and rest of my family and also my friends. I just realized that Blade Runner is just one of the bad people. If people made fun of you or whatever that upsets you... then you know they are bad people. Why do you think god made us that way? Of course god is testing people out. Once people insulted or make fun of other people they are bad and never will be nice. So dont let them upset you more and more. Just keep on talking and be friendly to anyone. If someone insulted you for not being paying attention to news and let us know incorrect information... just say... Oh I am sorry I misunderstood.. if they keep bashing on ya then you know the answer is that they are one of the bad people. Just ingore them. Sometime I can't control my temper when there are bad people making you angry and that they do not understand what's right and what's wrong. They just don't care and insults god's beautiful works.
 
I have met some people who have deformed faces and I get past on how their faces looked and just talked to them. Yes, I noticed the deformed face at first, then just to get to know the person and move from there. I have a friend who have same type of deformed face that you have. He is in his early 20's and he talked with alot of deaf people at the deaf event that I was at. They talked to him just the same way as he is one of the crowd. I don't see the deaf people treating him differently. DFM, I'm sorry for the way people have treated you. Yes, people do stare at you, but does it get better when they got to know the real YOU? Do you let them get to know the real you? It might help when you open up, talk with them and be their friend first...that way, they get to know you better. Be a friend, then they will become your friend. Good attitude and good mental attitude goes well together.

Actually she doesn't need to post her picture just to gratify your curiousity. If you don't believe her that's your problem, she really doesn't need to prove it just like I don't need to prove I'm deaf to anyone. (People have questioned if I am deaf or not on other forums. I could have provided so much proof but frankly who cares? If they don't believe.. like i said, their problem not mine.)

Deafilmedia, I strongly recommend you to consult with a psychologist or a social worker right away in order to make you feel better and avoid to suffer a severe depression.

like my friend did...

She told me she went to Africa with English interpreters and
and she said it was horrible over there.

She said she went there in November and
it was not that hot, but hot enough to make her fall out...
cause Africans in the poor terrain don't have air conditioning.

I already typed some info in Southern's thread, "i'm sad."

The only thing that can chnge your attitude is the desire to do so, and the hard work you have to do to accomplish it.
 
Going to Africa? It doesn't matter how far you go; the problem/solution is much closer....it's right there inside you.
 
I am really sorry that you feel this way. I thought you already knew that one day when you go to Heaven, you will have a very, very beautiful face. I do sometimes feel that I really wish I could hear and talk, so I can talk to certain families - makin' them to understand HOW I feel. I do have a very deep insights, but I couldn't talk to them about how I feel thru my deep insights because they don't know sign language.... very frustratin' for me. But, one day when I go to Heaven, I will be able to hear and talk - Heaven is goin' to be MY first experience to be able to hear & talk. :)

Don't feel bad about urself. Just think about God and look forward to meetin' Him one day ... the One who will change your face with beauty. :)

If you're going to be there, and I see you that have problem skin, then I will say that I am very apologizing because Right now I am not knowing which who you are? ;) :dunno2:
