the point is not difficult for a parent to understand. Good parents love their kids no matter what. Doesn't mean they approve of what they do or what they think.
If this is the case why do we have preachers shouting from pulpits across America that homosexuality is a sin and will get you hell, fire, and brimstone?
They preach it like it's evil of society aside from murder and adultery. It's bothersome really. They teach their own kids to make snide remarks about homosexuals.
Once I read this kid's status on FB, his parents go to my church, it went something like this: "I just saw two girls kiss, I think I just lost my appetite and wasted $7 at McDonald's." This kid was 17 at the time and very very very cocky and sure of himself. He's been taught all of his life that this is disgusting abhorrent behavior and that it should be avoided and condemned at all cost.
I thought very seriously of posting back "I just saw a man and a woman kiss on TV, I think I just lost my appetite and will be found in the bathroom purging." or something like that.

, my friends joke with me about being brown all the time, i don't consider them not my friend...if you cant laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at..
