I wanna see more LAWS by the FCC on TV commericals

In the old days it used to be 2:00 Commerical time. Now networks found a loophole around the laws like airing commericals 2:00 and then say there will be more on this show after this than another 2:00 commerical time.Thats 4 MINUTES on commerical time. Then you got Sports airing to many commericals especialy the NFL.Then you got game shows like DEAL or NO DEAL airing commericals every 10 minutes.Now heres what i want the FCC to do.Close the loophole and say this""" You can air commerical time 2:30 but after that you cannot air another commerical until 15 minutes after the 2:30 commerical time.That means once your 2:30 commerical time is up you cant say there will be more on this show after this and air another 2:30 commerical you must wait 15 minutes after that commerical before showing another commerical.So if the NFL downs is less than 15 minutes TOO BAD you keep the camera on the field.Samething with Baseball between inning and Hockey Face offs.And that applys to game shows too.Thats what i want the FCC make a new law replaces commerical time loopholes.
 
Nuh uh. Vote with your remote. If you don't like how many commercials are on TV, don't complain to the FCC, complain to the TV station, and stop watching their show. They depend on having happy viewers watching the show, and if no one is watching the show because of excessive commercials, the advertisers will not advertise on their show. But because people like you just sit and whine and do nothing except wish the FCC would do something about it, they laugh all the way to the bank.

1) Complain to the station. They take this seriously. If they get your complaint, they can adjust their formatting to better fit their audience.

2) Stop watching the show. Advertisers will see that their ratings are going down, which translates into less people seeing their ads. They won't pay money for people not to see their ads. They'll force the show to come up with ways to keep viewers watching or else they'll pay for advertising elsewhere.
 
Well, I will say that broadcast TV days are numbered anyway and consider the issue a moot point. As Dennis stated, one doesn't have to watch the show...:whistle:

I do have a question, why beef as the show is "free" and the price for watching it is {drum roll.....} "COMMERCIALS"!!!!
 
Well how can i watch my favorite NFL team if the game is SOLD OUT? I Rather watch the game at the STADIUM Now if i buy a ticket from an scalper IT COULD BE AN UNDERCOVER POLICE!! If I call the TV STATION and complain theyre laugh at me.We do need to close those loopholes 15 minutes before they can air another commercial or PAY THE FINE.
 
Umm... where is this so-called law? I've never heard of this.

I do agree that the commercials are getting too long and the shows are getting too short.

I have Dukes of Hazzard and Wonder Woman on DVD. Those shows were in the 70s. They lasted over 45 minutes. Now, shows last less than 45 minutes. :(
 
Cause back when the Dukes of Hazzard were playing on CBS.Networks didnt find a loophole cause people didnt have too many VCRS and a TIVO wasnt invented yet.Now people have em Networks are trying to find ways so people cant skip ads.I say TOO GOD DAMN BAD!!! Just like i sprayed my License Plate with Gloss so i cant get a ticket running though a red light though a red light camera.But sooner or Later theyre gonna Change that law and make it illegal you cant have those spray cans so youll pay the fine! The whole thing boils down to this.The govermenmt FAVORS THE WEALTHY! Why you think the rich rarely go to prison when they kill someone and the poor person cant get away with murder? And Government Gives the wealthy tax breaks and loopholes so they dont have to pay the taxes.But The government will never give an ordinary people a tax break.

Uh... On satellite?

My Dad bought the NFL TICKET from Direct TV. It airs any football game not on network. You can basically watch any game you want. All you have to do is pay the satellite fee.

Yeah But Again TOO MANY COMMERICALS !!!! This is exacly why i Gripe about COPS HERE!!! Because if i wanna buy a football ticket from a scalper cost $400 ITS MY CHOICE!! But nooo they wanna catch people buying tickets from a scalper and turn right around and arrest em.
