I hate Yahoo mail.... it sucks.... they keeps on complaining "too many addresses in either CC or to blah blah blah" and they make excuses, I was like :wtf: They are bunches of pussyfaces.... YAHOO A.KA YAHOO :rl: :rifle: :fu2: yAHOO! :fu2: They also ruined my e-mail contacts when I ran for school board and they deleted my e-mail account without my campaign's permission so we switched to hotmail...... If I see that ugly big red Y! I will kick their ass!!!!!

Really, Hotmail will do the same thing. They all have a thing called Spamguard. It prevents people from sending out spam and mass emails. If you want a better way to handle this, use a mailing list! It will keep your contacts longer than Yahoo or Hotmail.

A few you can check on are:
http://notifylist.com/
http://www.yourmailinglistprovider.com/
http://www.freelists.org/
http://www.coollist.com/

There. Your problem is solved. You shouldn't be angry with Yahoo or Hotmail because they had their policies. If you paid attention to how they run their services, then you wouldn't have lost anything or had any trouble with them.

Great vent, Rachel! Hope it works out for you.

Nice to see that AOL isn't the only system that disappoints people...LOL.

::ahem:: Anyway, how's about those Yankees? :)

so delete Yahoo from your profile lol

yahoo never give me problems unless... I go to setting to remove unwanted emails and it worked for me

Then don't spam. Why would you be sending a bunch of emails anyway?

i dont have plms with my yahoo since 97... oh well... sowwy abt that u had plms with this.. hope everything will fix! :ugh:

Hotmail will do the same thing to you. Hotmail and Yahoo both do not allow sending email to a bunch of people. If you really want to have a long email list where you can send email to everyone with one email, you're better off subscribing to Yahoo Groups. You can set up an account and make yourself the moderator. From there, you can add up to 50 names during the first day then add more every day when you feel like it. Just be sure you set it up so that all replies go back to you. Again, you shouldn't blame Yahoo for this. I'd be pissed off if you want to take advantage of my free services for your own benefits.

I forgot to add.

If those emails were traced back to you, you could be fined for spamming. They have laws in some states that are against spamming. One politician who was running for some office tried this and got in trouble for it.

Sending emails to help you win isn't going to help.

Yeah...those free web based email accounts have those in place to prevent spammers like others have mentioned. I,myself, haven't had any trouble with using yahoo and hotmail when sending emails.
Since you mentioned not being allowed to send a certain number of email addresses -- they may have some sort of trigger to alert them to possible spammers. That's what they do to protect users of those web-based accounts.
