My mom tells me that my dog ginger would not go outside and go to the bathroom. She just sits there on the steps waiting to come inside. Because she's scared of bugs and the noises outside. And she would end up peeing on the floor. But the most part is we don't know which dog peed because we have 3 dogs. The light tan is our dog chiqwawa name Ellie, our black dog name is Spankey, and our big dog is Ginger. We're thinking that the dog who peed is spankey or ginger. Spankey likes to eat bugs alot but we don't know if he holded it just so he could eat bugs. ginger is a scary cat and she escapes from her bedroom when we had the gate up in the laundry room. soo idk, any ideas?? also they are already potty trained.

Go outside and supervise them. Don't let them back in until they definitely went potty. This is what I do with my two dogs. It works.

One of my friends have 4 dogs in a house, they identify their poop and pee so they can know which dog it was. That's all I can know about this situation..

Take each dog outside on a leash and walk it until it does its business. Don't stop walking, don't go in the house, until each dog pees and/or poops.

If a dog pees on the floor, clean it up immediately and spray the spot with odor neutralizer. If you don't, the dog will be attracted to that spot to pee again.

Don't make the dogs wait too long to go out.

I agree.

It helps to have someone with them when they go outside.

Stand close (not too close that you get pee on your shoes) at first. As time goes back, step away further and further. When your dog gets to a point where it doesn't even notice you're there, then you can go in. :)

Try a set of time periods (at least twice a day) to solely accomodate their business time. I usually do this after feeding and exercise activity. Like mentioned above, it does help to use a leash, walk them around the yard, most will start to sniff the ground and do their business on the spot. It doesnt end there, praise them afterward, this will have them look forward to a praise when they do it right. They are creatures of habit, they will eventually come through and learn to do it where you want them to. If they do it inside, correct them with a firm no, dont get angry as nerves will discourage them. Collect the waste, take it and your dog outside. Have your dog observe you put the collected waste on the appropriate spot and allow him/her to sniff it (do not shove into nose! lol) so it will know thats where its business belongs. Then praise him/her, this is to show your dog it will only get praise when it goes outside to do its business. Its time consuming, but worthwhile! Good luck!

Sadly, male dogs don't care where to pee even inside the house. Most female dogs rather to go outside.

My mother's boyfriend has a small male dog. They come to my house once a while. I had to watch his dog when they go out at night. The dog peed on the wall in the hallway. I grabbed him and put his nose back against the wall to make him think hard. I was so angry. It was happened once a while they go out again and again. I have a dog door to let my dogs outside whatever they need to pee or exercise... This male dog goes out and comes in. He doesn't give a shit to pee in my house. In my mind, I want to choke him in the hell. I told the dog owner about it. He just laughed once a while. He said sorry about that. It is not easy for me to wash it off the wall, floors, and some rugs. He peed on my mother's bed twice. Her boyfriend said that his dog almost never pee in his own house. I have two small female dogs that I don't have a problem. The owner has not taken a serious thinking about his f dog. My mother loves her boyfriend because he is a sweet nice man.
