That's Amtrak Acela. It runs from Washington, DC to Boston, MA. The highest speeds will reach around 150 mph somewhere in RI. It mostly go around 125 to 135 mph range.
 
Since Miss delectable gave me the URL - the flight between Oregon and Washington DC is $603 :shock:

But I don't know how much it will costs in 2009, hope it would fit in my 5,000 budget... and It won't be counted as shopping spree if I dont have to. All I want is to meet deaf people from alldeaf.com and deafvideo.tv
 
I have thought of something - Alldeaf.com should organise a occasion such as BBQ or whatever so I can get the chance to meet everyone there OR something that everyone has an excuse to meet me. :lol:

yea theres many train but fare is very expensive if train from DC to NYC however I can find any secret code to get 50 percent off for it

why take train? save your money! take a chinatown bus from DC to NYC for like $20 one-way!!

Man, that just reminded me of my days as a Gally student taking that bus to NYC from DC every few months. Great memories!

Still costs $20? I would have thought the prices would have gone up by now.

yup still $20 one-way... $35 two-way. There was a couple of new companies that were trying to drive the competitors to bankruptcy by making their tickets so cheap by like $15. it was funny
 
Compleitiors can't fail. ;) But they're cheap to me!
