Ok, now AllisonJoy, Teddy, Sheild, and all the other people I know will know what I am up to. I tell my deaf friends that I wanna leave earlier than I want to. Say, I want to leave at 10 to go to six flags, I tell them that I wanna leave at 9. Then bye 10 or so, everyone is ready to go. LOL. I don't mind leaving social events late, cuz I love to socialize, too.

I cannot stand it when hearies tell me that I should get cochlear implants, and will not understand that I am totally fine the way I am, satisified with myself being deaf.

I cannot stand it when employers lose their interest in hiring me once they find out I am deaf.

I cannot stand it when hearies ask me with a shocked expression "Deaf ppl can drive?! But... howwwwww?!"

When I ask for a paper and pen (if I don't have it in my purse) to order something... a hearing person will stare at me, if I am an alien or something! It just happened *LAST NIGHT* as I am trying to order a chai tea at Borders' Bookstore, and a guy just shook his head and didn't get what my needs are and he just kept gawkin' at me after I wrote my order down!

Some cashiers r cool and friendly - MOST OF THE TIME - but there are some times that some people react when a deaf person ask for a paper n pen!
 
I hate it when I am writing something on paper and pen, and the cashier starts to serve the next person in line (behind me). I say: "Hey, you are still serving me." and I get attitude from the cashier and the customer.
 
yea Kuifjie -- i had a similar event happen to me once when i ran into a McDonald's to grab a small lunch and i was waiting for the ppl in front of me to finish their order/get food -- the cashier asked the hearie that was behind me to give her the order i was PISSED all to hell :mad2: and INTERRUPTED them and said wait a minute i was RIGHT behind that person who had just finished their order/get food and i have been standing here waiting for MY turn -- the woman who cut in :shock: and the cashier was like :ugh: and i say TFB deal with me first cuz im next in line properly like everybody else! that PISSED me off massively gawd and i was on a time schedule and in sort of a hurry :roll: at stupid hearies there sheesh -- the customer who was behind me :eek: and threw up her hands amd after i put in my order and while waiting for my food to be put in bag for take out i was SMH all that time disgusted at them -- the hearies there :-x i may be short in height but hell i have a BARK and im not shy making that known when i am treated unfairly!!
 
I hate it when hearing people tell my sister "I'm sorry that your big sister is deaf." I hate it when they have pity for deaf people, because we don't need their pity.
 
I hate when the hearies called, Ask For Annie or Marcus or whoever.. one of my kids or friends answered, said.. "Yes, they are here and i can take message." they said "why dont they come to the phone?" said "because they are deaf, they are standing by me, i can give msgs" they said " eh stupid" or "you are bullshitting on me" or hang up..
*sigh*
I hate when the hearies didnt give me chance to talk or write.. they just walked off to get somebody!..
 
OMG!!! i NEVERR NEVVVVEEERRRR forget that part what happen last two years ago Thanksgiving Day.. My sister and i went food store and there is ALOT crowd people geez soo i look at shelf something and till my sister pulled my arm hard and must be with her and walked away i puzzled ?? i saww my sister YELLLEED AT hearing guy then she start cried front me i feel like lost and asked her whats matter ????? she said the guy tried to tell me excuse me he want to move me but stand right there ( refuse moved ) i cant HEAR what he talked to me.. then my sister saw what the guy got UGLY expression behide my back and told him sorry my sister is deaf ( she nicely talked ) then he said ohhh ?? Deaf and DUMB!!!!! with ugly voice front people !! my sister was yelled at him DONT ever said that to my deaf sister FUCK YOU !!!! left i was soo FUCKIN shocked and asked her where the guy showed me ?? she said pointed thats HIM!!! i walked to him and said flip finger and with voice FUCK YOU ( HOLLERING) i can TALK !! YOU DUMBFUCK !!!! all people stared at me and lighter laughter and some clapped at me ! he was GULPED WITH POP EYES COME OUT then leffffffffft !!!!! wow i felt sooooo GOOOD !!! my sister said WAY TO GOOOOOO SISTER HIGGHH 5 !! LOL stupid hearing guy !!
 
I hate it when hearies put on a fake face and pretend that they think that I am normal and be friendly with me. Then I find out later that they feel so sorry for me and feel differently than what they act.
 
OMG, I go off on people that say "Deaf and Dumb" too. That pisses me right the fuck off.

LMAO @ BBnT. I guess we'll be shot.
