What do you call this?

Why don't we debate this over dinner? Or is it Supper?

here in Ark.. we said supper for every day.. but for fancy like going out on dates etc its a dinner. more like fancy you know?

How about this...

Some folks say soda, while others prefer pop or soda pop?

here in ark we called it coke..

So for fun.. What do you call cola in your neck of the woods?

Remember its like accent.. everyone are different on speaking wherever they are at. :)

so Share.... :)

if this was already posted.. opps sorry.. i was curious to see what your version of accents for words in your area.. :D

I'm from central minnesota and I say we are eating super and going out for dinner and i like to drink pop

Here in Holler County its

Supper at home - dinner if your'e actually eating out in a restaurant.

I call it coke, my dad calls it soda, my aunt calls it pop.

And I still cant figure out what the hell the old man meant by turn left at the 4th matchstick.......

I concur! I also have to say that no one drinks soda (baking soda) and the sister of one of your parents is called an aunt (pronounced awnt), not ant (the bug). However, when my Swedish great aunt was alive, we all called her Taunte (the e is silent, still pronounced like awnt, but with a T in front).
