I just got a 20 year mortgage paid off 2 years early and my credit score isn't even that high ...
I make it a routine to set up payments on-line well ahead of schedule, and it's allowed me to keep a steady routine, and remember to pay my bills.
Again as I said, Comcast, your rent, your bank ( debit card ) and your cell phone... NONE of that helps your credit.... It only hurts it when you don't pay. I have a credit card I've had since I was 21 never above 30%, paid off in full, 4 cars financed and paid in FULL, one I'm paying on now, 2 motorcycles financed and never late on ONE payment of ANY kind ( including medical ) and I don't have an 850. It's not possible man, it's just not. Just admit you're full of beans and all is well. As Nc said, he has a 20 year mortgage and his isn't even that high....
I'll do better.... I tried to check my own credit score, and I don't show up. Guess that's because I've never tried for a loan or mortaged a house or brought a car. None of these apply to me, so I suppose there's no real reason for me to have one. Odd.
You say your score is over 900 and yet now you say you tried to check your own credit score and it doesn't show up???
