How do you know which memory to buy for a netbook? I have a Samsung N-130 with 1 GB DDR2 RAM. I want to increase that to 2 GB RAM. I looked on the websites for Best Buy and Newegg. They sell several kinds of memory. How do I know which one is right for my computer?

ah what a coincidence. yea that memory is fine. from what I researched - popular brand to upgrade is either Crucial or Kingston. both are solid reputable brands.

I like Newegg because I've had success with them before.

me too. I'm their longtime customer. I've probably spent over $3,000 with them. My 3 computers (from past and now) are mostly built with parts from newegg and all our computers are upgraded with parts from them too. Their price, recommendation, and review sections ROCK!!!

I steer away from tigerdirect (another growing popular competitor) even though some of their sales were very tempting but it's got a share of complaints for its shoddy customer support service
