How much sleep do you get?

From Monday to Friday: Usually I gets up at 7am or 8am btwn time hours due kids goes to school as regluar and also I'd rather goes bed at 11pm. Saturday and Sunday: I'll stay up late hours probably around 1-2am and gone bed.....*snoring snoring til up late morning* around get up at 10am-11am (chuckles)

Changed goes to Summer currency now... Monday to Friday, sometimes I goes bed at 1am... takes me sleep 7-8hours... as same weekend goes for 8-9 hours that is it.

I usually get up at 7 am to get ready for school around 830 to 9 am and go to bed about 10 or 11 at night. I do that every day, but on the weekend I usually stay up so late until 2 or 3 am and get up around 11 or 12 hehe

Sleeping is not easy for me because I work night until morning from 10pm to 8:30am. I usually sleep 2 to 3 hours every day. When I'm off from work, I usually sleep 8 hours.

Another wiped-out night owl. Join the half-asleep everyday club. I've worked nights for most of the last five years. Even on my nights off, I'm waking up at 2 or 3AM then staying up for 6-7 hours before passing out again. :pissed:

I could never function on 2-3 hours sleep, but I've stayed up 24 hours straight too many times to count. During my school days, I had a couple of semesters with morning AND evening classes. That meant getting a five hour nap in a day and a half. I've worked full time night shift for the last year and taken one class a semester. Once or twice I was up for 30 hours straight. That killed my energy for the next three days.

This summer I've tried to get into a regular schedule and sleep from 9AM to 6PM, but too many times I've stayed in bed until 7:30. I'm too old for this s**t. Not to mention what it does to my social life.

Backerman, here's a link with some good info.

:dance2: I usually sleep 6 hours a night, which is good for me. There are times when I do wake up in the middle of the night, and then fall back to sleep. Like everyone else here, a nap helps equate the sleep I need.

I get 5-6 hours of sleep.. Monday to Friday, I get up at 6:00am and get ready to take my boy off to daycare and then work till 4:30 and go bed arond 11 or 11:30. On weekend, I get extra hours of sleep - 7-8 hours.

between 6 and 8 hours.

Less than 6 hours, I would be grouchy or airhead.

More than 8 hours, I would end up for having headaches.

I take meds so the med make me sleep soundly. But usually i sleep from 8 to 10 hours to feel good the next day. less than that i am tired and cranky. during the school year i usually wake up about 8:00 when the rest of the dorm is up by 7 then go to school at 8:45 but since i not in school i would sleep from 2 or 3am to noon the next day but quite often wake up once at about 9 to 10isham to go pee and stuff then i decide whether to go back to bed or not, most time i do, but if have event then i cant. If I don't get enough sleep the meds will make me groggy and "act like i am stoned" lol

me? up and down depend on what time i go bed... sometime i go bed 4am or 5am or 6am.. then get up alike 9am or 10am.. on weekend.. most time on week, went bed 1am then get up 11am...

I sleep 6 to 8 hours if I feel well or not. Depend on me if I am tired or not.

I suffer from insomnia, so my sleeping patterns vary. I average about 4-5 hrs of sleep per night. The exception being when I'm sick. If that's the case, I'll sleep 10-12 hrs. Otherwise, "Get cable, Mom, because I'm UP!"

I'm the same way. NOTE the time on this post. LOL.

Sometimes my mind just won't shut down. Tonight, though, I am up with a feverish five-year-old.

I do try to get at least five hours per night in order to function. Also keep in mind that trying doesn't necessarily mean it happens. LOL. I sometimes get by on three or four hours' rest...or keep moving until I finally conk out cold.

I work 4 nights per week, from 9 pm to 7.30 am. So, I sleep during the day for about 5 to 6 hours. Then on weekends I sleep about the same time as my SO, which is about 10 to 11 pm. Then I wake up at 5.30 before he leaves for work. So, thats about 6 to 7 hours.
