How do I cancel my airplane ticket?

Well, my trip to pittsburgh is off, my sister demanded me to call airlines to cancel my airline ticket, so I wonder have anyone experinced cancelling their own plane ticket? Thanks.... My sister/my mom wanted to get into fight with me today.... I have been so in bad mood today..... I am under lot of stress here, because they want all is to fight with me... I am so pissed off...
 
Awww....well, you could just rip up the ticket, no wait, better yet, just give it to me! :D

All kidding aside, I suppose you haven't call the airline to check up on whether you're able to refund and cancel your trip? If not, give the airline a call and see what they have to say or if they can also give you any recommendations as well.

AD'ers?? Anyone else have any good suggestions? If so, share them here--:ty:

if you have insurance coversage w/airplane ticket ? If don't have insurance cover for this ticket too bad! you have to go ...
Unless if you have insurance coverage w/airplane ticket, you can go ahead cancel flight and arrange another date flight... Will be no problem.

Read the fine print on the airline ticket and call the airline company on # 800 toll free number on TTY to see what the company policy is on airplane ticket refunds.

Well, I was supposed to go with my sister and her friends and group of bowlers to watch them bowl in national tourey, and a lady call tickets for all of us. I was gonna use Midwest Airlines..
 
Yeah it happened to me before all I did was contact with airline unless if you made reservation then you would be able to call and cancel. hopefully u dont have ticket in your hand.
 
If the ticket that you bought was non refundable then there isn't much of a chance for you to get back the money but do call the airline and see what they will say. If the ticket is refundable then you will be able to get your money back.

BTW, hope everything will go well with you and your family.
 
Aww next time you get in a fight with one of your family member, just say this " U know I love you very much, but I'm not up to argue with anyone here, can we enjoy our time together without fighting? ", most of the time it works! ;)....


If you cancelled your airline ticket, you won't be able to get your money back or anything, awww such a waste :(
 
If the ticket is non-refundable, there isn't much you can do. The only thing you probably could do is reschedule a flight with an additional fee of anywhere of between $15 to $100 depending on what airline you are flying on. You could probably fly there to visit your sister at another time, if you like.

You may be lucky. I just spoke my wife who always traveled anywhere in the world before our marriage about your situation.

There are three options:

1. You may need to contact Midwest customer service about probably getting a refund (of course, I am aware of your non-refundable airfare)
2. You may need to postpose the date.
3. you may sell any person like RR wants one. You may need to contact Midwest customer service to change the name.

Just get on the plane and take your baseball bat with you down to see your family, Just make sure you get rid of the evidences. ;)

yeah, I agree if non-refundable they wouldnt refund u, Through, My girls's father cancelled his flight before even it was non-refundable he showed/faxed to NWA the note from his Dr at urgent care he was unable due of vomitting/sick that day and cancelled

also another flight he has changed the date cost him, if reschedule will be charged to u some extra money :/
 
Well, update is that I talked to my mom and she made my sister not to order me around to cancel my plane ticket, and that she have to put up with me... I am still going since my mom told her so....

I hate it when my sister order me around, she reminds me of Molly Peterson-Wenzel (?)... Molly was my roomie from the hell (I lived with her and other woman for few weeks til I couldn't take it anymore)....

Yes she does sometimes, so I just rebel at her.... That piss her off... I know she will be leaving for NY this june for 9 to 14 months. I think it would be good time to be seperate from sister for awhile.

I'm happy for you and I think that's great that it worked out for you; however, I didn't think the resolution of your airline ticket was made better by naming a real-life person. And your'e in the political arena? Hmmmm.....

Ahh, same as my 2nd sister bossy around on me that make turned me off and I call her SHUT UP!! and your not my mother!! and *scoffs!* and also *pfffft* on her then she act snob! on me and walk away from me didnt talk back to me eheh :giggle: She is 25 yrs old right now and I am 28 yrs old which I am the oldest sister in my mom's kids :). my other 2 sisters age 23 and 16 yrs old that have no problem with me that they didnt bossy around on me none which I like it but my sister who is 25 yrs old act like bossy around on me even my 2 sisters too. we got turned off on her.
 
You could cancel your plane ticket if you contact the airline. However, they will likely charge you a $100 cancellation fee.
