How can I better understand what some of you say?

"Nice" women don't get picked up. If you want a relationship with a nice woman don't expect her to be a pick up from a bar. You have to meet her as an individual and treat her as an equal human being, not a pick up.

I'm sensing that you're having a problem establishing what is appropriate in a healthy man-woman relationship. I don't know if you haven't had good role models or experiences that have tainted your perspective but you might want to seek professional help in sorting this out.
 
I'll figure it out. It's just that it's the 1st time for me, and since I am less than 48 hours away from leaving my 20's forever, I need to enjoy what time I have left.

Do you mean dating? Try not to worry so much about that and just let relationships happen naturally. Don't go on the prowl.

No, no. I do not have cancer. I meant I am about to begin a new chapter of my lif when I turn 30.... no more 20's.

I never go prowling for women.... if I happen to meet one by chance that's interested in me, I don't pressure people.

My hubby and I have gone through many ups and downs. We are still each others best friends but we work on it every day. Unfortunately being in a long, happy marriage is not too common these days. There are couples like us going on 27 wonderful years.
