How about this Jeep?

Reba, you play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3?
That totally does not seem your style!

Ha, ha, no, I don't play. But I like Jeeps.

I feel sorry for whoever purchased it

I took this pix at gun expo in upstate NY couple weeks ago. I can imagine if I asked this guy for his opinion on "Call of Duty" Jeep

"you call that a jeep? LOL! this is THE JEEP!"

I saw them at Los Angeles Auto Show last week ago but I didn't step on the showroom as I just walk straight to the Fiat 500 on the showroom. Lot people swamp in the Jeeps for test to fit their tastes.

Neither do they have power windows and locks, and the electronic gadgetry made for off-roading. I like a straight-up old school Jeep, but with seat belts and AC. I also have an IH Scout II, 1977 manual 4WD. I hope to get it out of restoration soon.

old school Jeep with AC? just push the window down

Like I said, old school Jeep, BUT with AC and seat belts. Let's see you go without AC in the southwest here.

exactly! that's why I wouldn't be driving old school vehicle!

I already sold my TJ, and still keep Cherokee even though it is older than TJ that I had. I have always wanted old school Jeep like CJ-5 or CJ7 and use it just pure as toy. One of my neighbor got shinny apple red CJ-7 I was drooling over this Jeep.

I am sticking to Cherokee and Super Duty Diesel for now.

I really enjoy driving my LJ. Now that it's gotten cold down here, I really like the heater! I first found out about the heater when I was in KY at Mammoth Cave Nat'l Park. The first chill had passed through there at the time.

Too bad it isn't manual, though. But I have automatic because my Scout II is manual - what if I become injured and can't drive it for a while? Screw public transportation down here in the Deep South!

However, my Scout has AC and has been retrofitted with shoulder seatbelts.
