What about this forum? Many of us talk about current events, don't we?
And? That in no way rebuts the statement "many agree with you"

That's how you feel. However, the audiences except you and some others always want to know who the shooter was and what he looked like so that's the media's job to share the info.
False. The public is always curious to know what's going on like how many people died, who did, how, where, when, etc.
Everyday? No. Don't forget that I am a movie nut.so you don't follow current events yourself?

Wait a minute, let me see how many posts you made in the thread "Connecticut school massacre", oh, that means you cared.here....
I can't find any source that backs your claim but I do find plenty that backs my claims that nobody cares especially a local news appearing in national news.
During breaks at work, alot of people watched the TV news about Newton shooting because they wanted to know what was going on. That's normal for people wanting to know what's happening. It will never stop. That's facts of life. Remember OJ's murder case, 9/11, etc. People want to know so that's why we have mass media.so am I and I still read news everyday so that I don't look like a clueless bumbling idiot with misguided opinions and stereotypes formed by movies.
