Honking to make you hurry!

This makes me so pissed. I had a man drive from behind me at two stop signs. Usually, I like to wait until the road is clear or cars are as far as possible before I turn. I don't like to rush quickly when making a turn or going to the opposite lane when at a stop sign because it's less nerve wracking and it's what people should do. Plus sometimes you don't know exactly what speed they are going, so it's best to wait.

Well, I drove at the speed limit and stopped at a 4 way street with stop signs. I already saw that there were no cars coming, and it would be my turn even though one car stopped on the other side after me. Anyway, I stopped and looked anyway because that's what you should do, right? Well, when I was done looking and started driving the jerk honked. I decided to stop again and had an attitude at this jerk to make him wait more. What did he expect me to do? Roll by slowly and keep going without a full stop? He can do that if he want to be a bad driver, but don't tell me what I should do as a driver!:pissed:

Man, I don't usually do this, but why do people honk at others? Do these people not realize that their eyes are not that driver's eyes that's before them who sees better?

I never honk at people to make them hurry even if the light turns green and it takes 2 seconds for them to move.
 
Some people have virtually no patience when it comes to driving in the traffic.

Just be careful, there is many road rage incidents that we have heard and some do have a gun to shoot people down. Just let it go, and let them get a ticket. If that happen to me, I just let them pass and they take their own risk, not me. There is always impatience drivers everywhere, stalling them only makes things worse as they get more pissed off.

that's why I....eerrr..... :squint: can't keep gun in my car for protection... Only for transport. stupid NJ. Sometimes I hate reba... damn her and her CCW.... damn her state.... damn everything....

There's plenty of idiots out there, there's nothing you or anyone can do about it. The best advice is to let them pass and don't piss the other drivers off. If a cop pulls anyone over and sees a gun or weapons, that brings more trouble for drivers.

No, I don't own guns and will never need one. Road rage is scary and put other driver's lives at risk. Stalling drivers, or driving too slow only makes worse to piss them off. If they are in hurry, let them pass and let the police or patrol trooper take care of them if they catch them.

Many states adopt the law on road rage because there's too many drivers who don't think twice, carelessness and always in a hurry because they are not prepared and leave in very last minute.

still not helping me or the victim of road rage. Sometimes the angry driver just don't know when to quit it and he'll cut in front of you... and stop and get out to beat the crap out of you or shoot you. 911's not gonna get there on time but my gun will :cool2:
 
It happened to me before. Some drivers have no patience. I had to move over and let it go. I've seen some drivers give the finger to the other drivers.

Road rage is dangerous and deadly. I think RR is stupid. Well, be careful.

i been into many time
when they did to me

sometime i can feel loud horn sound like train horn a air horn.. they did to me few time when they pass me and gave me finger so i gave them kissing

and i love you they got mad and pass me lol
 
ClearSky ... There are a lot of "slow rolling" at stop signs now instead of coming to a complete dead stop. Just ignore those who honks at you to hurry up, as they are the ones who are in the wrong.

Geez, don't say it back to them. You know make it worst. Simple move it over and let it go or ignore them. So, be careful. That's about it.

I've had to deal with a few people who had short tempers. One time I was at a traffic light. As soon as the light turned green, the guy behind me started honking his horn and yelling at me to hurry. Eh? It just turned green! :roll:

Sometimes, I'll be in the right lane getting ready to turn right at the intersection. Unfortunately, this intersection does not permit right turns on red lights (there's a sign posted). So, I sit there with my right blinker on. Someone will start honking at me telling me to go ahead and turn right. I can't, cuz the sign says so. If I did, I'd probably get pulled over. :roll:
 
In Kansas City, Missouri, it is illegal to honk horns unless if it's an emergency. Cops will ticket u for honking horn over nil. Because city want to cut down noise pollution. People in KCMO complained about horn honking so they asked for it.

In fact that in news in KCMO, granny accidently honked horn at cop. Cop came to her to write her ticket. She argued that it was accident (she accidently bumped her arm on horn button when she was reaching something). Cop won't listen and she got out and argue the cop. Cop tasered granny over it. This is plain stupid. Cops are taser trigger happy so don't mess with KCMO.
I think it's wrong for KCMO for anti-honking law. Horns in cars and motorcycle have safety purpose.

In Kansas, they don't care. I do honks behind wandering bicyclist (especially kids) to move over or someone in front of me not moving when light went green and idle for 10 seconds. I do honks if someone was about to cut in front of me (I find it funny when I "read" their mind that they were about to go from stop while I was about to pass them, I honked ahead of time and saw their car high tailed [slammed brake just as soon after they creep] and they got pissed at me :rofl: ).


I had people honking at me while waiting on stop or car in front of me was sloow. I simply ignore them and move on as normal. I kept corner of my eye on mirror to be sure that dumb impatient driver not getting out of car, if they do, I would be ready to floor pedal if I have room to escape. If not then let driver yell at me through closed door and windows and if he hit on my car, I would be happy to call cops and have camera handy and notepad ready to use it against him. Road rage in KS are illegal.

Car that was slow in front of me and cars honking behind me, I just simply pull side a little bit to give driver behind me to see and get idea what's going on in front of me. They shut up after that :lol:

One time in the past, young lady blaring horn on me cuz I was waiting at the busy traffic while going to turn right. I just stopped and shift reverse and let off brake make them thing I'm going to rear end them with my big SUV. She shut up. She went :eek2: and left me alone and went other direction cuz they thought I mean it if she don't shut up


I had pissed driver flipping fingers on me, I just keep driving and ignore as it never happened. I have seen them kept flipping fingers long enuf from the start to end. I didn't care tho. Their finger flippin means nothing to me.

One time, I was driving down the highway and one guy was jerking his car around and past me, and he gave me a finger -__- for what? then i caught up with him on the road and gave him a finger back then i quickly turned my car into left turn. Haha... his face was like.. -___- 0_0
