Honestly, Why does kids excited to ivy league when accepted?

Why did many kids excited and cannot wait go to ivy league when accepted?
Do they know these people at ivy league?

it is similar to gallaudet... :)
 
Because they know they are 4-5 years from making Big Money.

because they can't wait to get away from home

I am returning to Gallaudet tomorrow for fifth year.

I remember when I was in senior, I got accepted. I am excited to see deaf culture and friends which have not experienced in east coast before, something different.

Matajan, if you're the true Californian - you may know who I am =). I know those gallaudetians/
 
kids are exciting to get in Ivy League because they will make MEGA BUCKS...they'll be working in any companies that Forbes' top 100.

kids are exciting to get in Gallaudet because they will PARTY HARD and withdraw, only half of them will stay there...kids are exciting to get in Gallaudet because they will make MEGA BUCKS when they find the job in Deaf schools.
