Oh, I wasn't aware that was Hillary. I recently saw her on the news. I guess I didn't recognize her.![]()
Same here. I almost didn't recogize her and she surely gained some weights since the election.

She is human. We all make mistakes and sometimes on the job too. Anyone who criticizes her for that is expecting perfection from a human being. Good luck!
Agreed, Condi Rice does made mistake too so no big deal.

She didn't handle that very professionally. She could have just cooly answered, "You'll have to ask him that question."
Suppose she had been elected President; would you want her to "lose her cool" in a crisis?
As Secretary of State, she has to deal diplomatically with people all over the world. She better get a grip.

that was not a mistake. Mistake is when you misspoke about something. How does "losing your cool" constitute a mistake? Maybe it's just me but I don't really define "losing your cool" as a mistake.![]()

Gawd forbid that a woman appear aggressive! Us little wimmin should know our place. :nutkick:
Yes, I second that.
Yes, nobody is perfect!
To my opinon.
Hillary find right word to speak except her behavior. I can understand where she come from but she should answer in friendly and polite manner when she received any questions when she don´t like.
The same as Hillary did? I don't recall that.Agreed, Condi Rice does made mistake too so no big deal.
It's too bad people aren't as forgiving when it comes to Palin or other conservative women. She is human. We all make mistakes and sometimes on the job too. Anyone who criticizes her for that is expecting perfection from a human being. Good luck!
She didn't appear aggressive or even assertive. She appeared overly sensitive and snotty.Gawd forbid that a woman appear aggressive! Us little wimmin should know our place. :nutkick:
right word but wrong behavior? not at all. you cannot say that exactly same words in a polite, friendly manner. Those same words were hostile and unprofessional. Perhaps she should learn a thing or two about answering unwanted question from her good daughter Chelsea. Remember when a rude reporter asked Chelsea a very rude question about Bill Clinton's scandal during Hillary Clinton's campaign trip at Butler University? She handled that gracefully and professionally.

It's too bad people aren't as forgiving when it comes to Palin or other conservative women.
"Bill is not state of secretary, I am" is right word but she should handle in polite manner way without show her angrily impression.
Example of all. (true story about Princess Diana and Sarah Fergusion).
Sarah companied her husband to Australia soon after birth of their first child. Media described Sarah as a bad mother to leave newborn home for 2 months and should take Diana´s role as an example. (The media remember that Diana took baby William with her to Australia with Charles).
Sarah answered in polite and friendly way without angrily impression that "I am not Diana............"
You want me to tell you what my husband thinks? I am not going to be channeling my husband. My husband is not secretary of state, I am.
"I believe you missed out couple more sentences, Liebling. Those very sentences made her as arrogant, hostile, and unprofessional.... even without angry expression.
(correct me if I'm wrong with her statement but this is the best I can from lipreading her along with quotes obtained from article)
"You want me to tell you what my husband thinks? I am not going to be channeling my husband. My husband is not secretary of state, I am.
"
Are they not both "human" and make mistakes that should be forgiven?I do not see anything that Palin´s similar behavior as Hillary but slander, etc. Palin created slander, not Hillary and Hillary´s behavior manner, not Palin.
The comparison, you tried to make between Palin and Hillary is a moot.
Even "My husband is not secretary of state, I am" sounds petty and unnecessary in her response.Yes, you are right that those word (red font) she spoke is not acceptance. Another word (dark red font) is right without angrily impression.
