Coyotes or Wolves

Eaten alive by a pack of wolves/coyotes? Wolves i'd believe but coyotes?

Oh and before anyone asks. I have no idea how they can tell she was still alive when eaten. I know it pissed alot of people off when they told the family that though. What was the point. Nobody needed to know she suffered.

Stuff of horrors.

I agree. Go quick. Real quick. Don't want to see it coming. Just suddenly see my grandpa and grandma smiling at me. No sin tax to worry.

Yeah it was a mess. It was Christmas break and they were on their way to a cabin that didn't have phones.....so no one realized they were missing because they weren't expecting to hear from them anyway.

no. the question is - was Steve Irwin not too happy about it?

Do you think he would have more or less happy had he died another way or in intractable pain?

Death is never something one embraces. However, the circumstance surrounding the death can make it more bearable or less bearable.:cool2:

Amount of blood and O2 in the organs.

Coyotes is possibility. I know they're a problem in downtown areas around people in some cities where agricultural lands were destroyed to make room for suburbs.

I know rangers say that wolves won't touch a human, but coyotes will.

Or if the dying person catches a glimpse of what may be beyond. I do not fear death.

Yes, and the ones infiltrating the cities are known to be particularly agressive.

Quite true. I don't fear death. Nor do I want it to come anytime soon. Not out of fear....out of greed for the enjoyment I get from life.

I agree. It turns out that simple pleasures are totally awesome. :)

I'm not sure I agree with that. If one were in a situation that had no way out and there was nothing in this life for the person to enjoy (basically suffering), wouldn't that person embrace death as a means to end what has no meaning?

:hmm: Good question. I suppose it could be seen from a couple of perspectives. Perhaps not embracing death in and of itself, but embracing the relief of pain and misery that the option provides. Most would not choose death if their suffering could be relieved another way.

True. I have some personal experience in the matter unfortunately. There is no way out and the person's existence is misery.

Quite false since I know a few instances in my line of work. Wolves are smart and adapt to encroaching human environment. Here in this video (turn on CC in main YouTube website) an attack occurred where 7 wolves tried to attack them by surrounding three women and their dogs on a stretch of road, circling them. They weren't afraid of humans, and that's the key point. They will and do attack humans when the opportunity arises.
