Hiker falls to his death inside of active volcano crater

I know. Falls into an active volcano, snow covered crater, and on top of a glacier, too.

probably not

I'm sure Steve Irwin wasn't too happy about being stung in the heart and dying too early :dunno:

Bad example.

He said he always wanted to work with animals, and if he died on the field-- he would want the footage of his death released.

no. the question is - was Steve Irwin not too happy about it?

We wouldn't know, since we weren't there to ask him. We haven't even seen the footage to make that decision for ourselves.

No one likes dying, period.

But to say "at least he died doing what he love" is a positive-look view on accidental deaths. Some people don't want their days to be gloomy, bombarded by negative news-- nothing more.

I wouldn't say that "no one likes dying." There are people who do like dying.

Yeah... those people get a kick out of self-strangulation and other dangerous acts that evoke erotic feelings, pushing themselves to the brink, but I am still sure they wouldn't like being dead. And the ones that prefer to be dead? They lost the light, they don't see an alternative.

I think that terminally ill people would welcome death as a way of ending the suffering. But that isn't most people who die.
