This is Faye. So I've been lurking on these forums for a while and I wanted to properly say hi. Basically, I'm a college student in New York City and I've been dealing with hearing loss for about 5 years now. I first lost my hearing on the left hear five years ago and this past winter I lost my hearing on the right. (Makes for a very interesting time when you work at your college newspaper. ^.^)
This forum has been invaluable during the past few months. I'm learning to take everyday at a time and to truly just learn to appreciate everything.
I look forward to meeting everyone and possibly making a few friends. So drop by to say hi!
