Here stupid Sidekick FAN.

Everyone got opinion of their own, Treo or Sidekick 3. I'm sticking to Sidekick 3 due to its simpliticy.

I'm not sure about Fido -- visit hiptop.com and ask, they might know something or heard of a rumor about it. Canada version of USA's FCC approved Sidekick 3, so it should be anytime?

I bet that you don't own Treo then you just nothing to know about it. There's no GPS on Treo and internet browser does sucks, more crappy than SK3. I had tried it then I hate it and expensive monthly bills, also cost are expensive too. You just being complain about SK3 because of no video then we don't need have video, it was T-Mobile decide then stop complain about it. For my personal then I have said Treo and Nokia does sucks. ;)

SK3 is more worth for me, good experiernce with keyboard, also I'm still own SK for longer time, probably forever.

LOL, let's imagine what next sidekick will provide! :)

GPS in Treo 700? If so, I would've gone for it at the first place. :)

Well we are talking about Treo 700p or w for that matter. p=palm w=window ce

the newest Treo 700 has EvDO so that means web browser in those are faster than before. although it is said to be updated version and optimized for that device.

you might want to read this review about 700p
http://www.treocentral.com/content/Stories/833-1.htm

also the difference is that SK3 use T-mobile and Treo use either Sprint or Verizon but I hope T-mobile too

and on SK3 you can't write anything with pointer like you can with Treo so in that case you snap a picture with Treo 700p then you draw something on the picture then send. so in that case you bump into a actor and you whip out 700p and snapped a picture then ask the actor to sign it! instant autograph complete with photo!

with SK3 you just snap picture eh.

see it is hard for me to decide SK3 or Treo 700p

I don't care about Treo though, Sidekick has been great experience, more popular in USA, mostly shown on MTV. ;)

uhh no I didn't hear any complaints from many deaf sk users.

go to t-mobile.com and try this generic zip code. 85701 that's downtown zip code to see how the coverage is like..

If you see the blank area in NE of Tucson that's because of mountain which is around Tucson though..

I means in rural area, that where out of Tucson area but still in Tucson metro.

well, if you entered that zip code I have you and you can zoom out of the tucson to see whole arizona then you can see the rural area are not covered.
http://t-mobile.com/coverage/default.aspx?zip=85701

So I would not suggest those to who lives way out in rural area and may bet lousy reception like 1 or 2 which will be slow! unless they live near I-10 or I-19 and commute to either PHx or Tucson would be fine.

Hmm Bisbee has bigger coverage than Tucson. but tiny town.. but I think I know why.. MINERS!! it is all around Bisbee!

Yea, signal is so died when I was in Inyo County (that where Death Valley is in).

Verizon Coverage in Az kinda sucks..

Just FYI, Sprint has problem with GSM, some are outage then one of my friend had switched into T-Mobile for better services, not coverage.

Umm.. Sprint is use CDMA like Verizon.

Tmobile's customer service is like Apple because of less customers.

Frankly, I have seen Sidekick bust several time. I have know more than 60 people who have sidekick that broke between 1 to 3 time a year. It's very fragile and low-tech.

From I understand that you're satifactory with SK because CA have highly coverage under TMobile while all rest stated doesn't. Are you aware that there are TWO states don't have Tmobile coverage? Ask NC and SC resident. I have been there in NC with friend who have sidekick. His signaler was totally dead.

Only rural area or little cities in NC and SC aren't work, or even low signal...

Signal is great in Charlotte in NC and Columbia in SC, also any larger cities in NC/SC.

Worst signal is Wyoming...

T-Mobile have largest costumer service, high as Cingular and Verzion.
