Me and my wife already planned to buy sidekick 3 for each of us and will post as soon as we get them and play around with them for a while. I will let you know what I think of it.

My own review will be based on my own preference and it will vary with other's perspective.
 
I do not own any Sidekick yet so I may buy SK3 so that's why I waited till SK3 to come out instead of buying SKII .. poor those souls who attended DeafNation buying up SKII at discounts. those sellers were smarts to clear the inventories!

I may buy SK3 next month or next year when DeafNation rolls into Phx. eh...
 
I bought skII at Deaf Expo in Southern CA two years ago, it cost me measly $50 bucks.. LOL

I wonder if SK3 has video inside? It could be nice if SK3 has a better tower coverage, u know.

When I have enough money, I consider buying SK3.

No video, period.

No video streaming (like watching movies), no movie player (like putting movies on the SD card and watching them on an airplane) no video recording (like using the camera to videotape someone) and no VRS (no videoing to another person).

Sidekick 3 is nice but I won't buy it till next year or so. I will wait to listen about sidekick 4 which includes HDPA/UMT network or WiMax. They is faster than EDGE. Can use video calling. I keep my sidekick II. I will take patience to get another sidekick.

This is silly. When the Sidekick 2 came out, people said, "oh, I can't wait until the Sidekick 3 comes out! It'll have high speed/ video / do my laundry for me/ whatever!"

Now, even before the Sidekick 3 comes out, people are like, "oh, I can't wait until the Sidekick 4 comes out! It'll have real high speed / video / do my laundry for me / whatever!"
 
At least sidekick 3 is better than sidekick ii despite our expectations for video thing. It got detachable battery which allow us to replace battery that won't be recharged (If it happen in Sidekick II, you will have to send it to be replaced or repaired for $$). Better keyboard layout with letter incased to prevent fadeout and "peeling" that was often found in Sidekick II. It also include bluetooth technology for headset (wirelessly), let's imagine krown pocket comm with bluetooth built in and there is also hearing aids with bluetooth built in as well! BlueTooth also allows us to exchange vcard without having to type in email addresses, addresses and such from your new friend. Sidekick 3 also got better camera (1.3 megapixels) compared to sidekick II (less than that!!) It also allows us to store up to 1,200 pictures on 2Gb miniSD or over 500 songs as well! Sidekick 3 is also 20% smaller than Sidekick II, making it more like "cell phone" than bulky piece of box.

Treo700 still better than Sk3 for everything.
 
Does anyone know if Sidekick 3 will be available to Fido ? I live in Ontario, Canada. I have hiptop (sidekick) and want to get hiptop 3 since it has msn, yahoo and aim messenger. I love hiptop because it has everything but it lacks one thing! its msn messenger. I barely use aim, and frequently use msn messenger so it is a must. I look forward hearing after sidekick 3 is released to store and see how sidekick users think of it. I hope it will be worth it!
 
I think my SK2 getting slower service, so am thinking to buy Blackberry 8700g
