I saw that I have low memory on my cpu...please help quickly...
 
I think you got too many program :dunno: maybe I am wrong I dunno hehe I am not computer whiz :lol:

But wait and see what other people said to post in here ok ? :)
 
Need more RAM. What is your current RAM? 64,128,256 or higher?. My computer is low memory and run slow last time was 128 RAM so i upgrade to 768 RAM anrun much better. It was depond on your computer. Can you give specific information your CPU post here so can look at it and why and cause low or run slow down.

What is RAM? How do I find where RAM is? thank you!
 
Go buy a book and learn on your own. Or go to the public library in your county.

OK, RAM is for access data memory in the CPU. Full words for RAM is Random Access Memory. IF 64RAM in the CPU with large data files,massive programs like graphic designed, games, printer, fax like that. Most common recommand is 256RAM. 500 RAM is better cause have not worry about problem with crashed, warn come up low memory. If you want upgrade RAM. Cost range is $50 to $300. Depond on what is your choose or affordable prices. You can install by yourself just put RAM in the motherboard under three minutes then ready to go. That is it.
Any stores like best buy, circuit store or repair service store have sell types of RAM.

PS Can you tell me what is your current RAM? ( you can find RAM just click start/control panel/ double click system. There is show your CPU specific informations.) Hope will help you?. Any question?.

ok i got it...on general tab...i see below it says 504 mb of ram
 
1) you saw Low Memory that share between memory and hard drive, you check hard drive how many free bytes? if free bytes is 256 or less mean it is full, Memory can't switch to hard drive

2) what your O.S. Version (95, 98, ME, 2000 or XP),
95, 98, and ME are very fast than 2000 and XP, any old cpu

3) if you have 2000 or XP, need 512mb or more memory becuase they are too much programs than 95, 98, ME

4) if you install many program have "Startup", you see some tiny icon near time, up to six is fine, if seven or more mean need more memory

5) press hold CTL + ALT and hit Del, click "Task Manager", click tab "Processes" click "CPU" sort, you see 99, 02, 00, 00, ... you see second or more have still more number, they will low, and tab "Performance", you see any chart if high mean ot too much and low

6) Start -> Run -> type "MSCONFIG" (not win2000 or download msconfig in internet for Win2000). you see tab "Startup" and "Service", how many, if you not like, some unmark, will won't low some little med, some high

you don't want all
then you need buy extra, I have all !GMZ Memory, perfect, very smooth, fast, but I have one mother P3 500mhz with 128, it is very slow, add 512mb, fast!

Yes, I saw low memory but how do I findout where bytes is? I have 504mb of ram...

ok...on Processes tab...I see CPU sort - all of them says 00 except for taskmgr.exe and firefox.exe repeately says 02 to 00...and the last one for system idle process says 86, 95, 96, 97, it keeps changing...

ok I see cpu usage history low up and down..with 4 or 7%....also see PF Usage history is flat line...and 396 mb...is it bad?

#1 - you know how many bytes free and use,
Click My Computer
Click right mouse "C:"
Click "Properties"
see how many free bytes
and
you see "pagefile.sys" is share hard disk and memory, it is hide at c:\

if free 1gb or more, you go
Click My Computer
Click "Properties"
click tab "Advanced"
you see "Performance" hit "Setting"
click tab "Advanced" see last page "Virtual Memory"
that how many you want memory swap hard disk, you try 1536mb
