I hope that you can soon find a good local ASL class. Internet resources are good for support but live instruction is best.

I'm not from Indianapolis, although my Dad's family is from Indiana, and I spent many weeks at Fort Benjamin Harrison when I was in the Navy. Sometimes Hubby and I would stop at Indy on our way to visit his family in Michigan. It's a nice city, and easy to navigate.
