I've posted on a couple of threads and thought I'd better stop in to say "hi."

My name is Sarah and I'm the hearing mom of a Deaf almost-teen. I love reading about other people's experiences and look forward to making friends on the board, especially with other parents.

welcome!!!! I'm barely there (I'm pretty profound in the high-low tones as of last year LOL) but still moderate at mid highs ;D

No, no, she said a Deaf almost teen, not an almost Deaf teen! :lol:
 
I didn't write that clearly, did I? My daughter is Deaf and an almost-teen. The teen thing is scary!

Same here, my girl is a teen, and my boy is almost a teen. :Ohno: Hope their teen years will go so smooth.. LOL
