Hi IrishmanDan, welcome to AD and I look forward to your posts. I am a very controversial and opinionated character as well. Several ADers can attest to this too. I have a tip for you. When you debate with someone, it is not approps to insult someone and be pottymouthing that person. Take this post for example.

CookieMonster, I am puzzled. You say that when I respond to posts I should not "potty mouth" the person who submitted the post. I had NO IDEA Cindy herself posted! Wow. If only I had known it was her. Amazing that she would take time from her very important "task" in Texas to post here.

In case the sarcasm is not noticed, let me clarify, I was not "potty mouthing" the person who submitted the post. I was expressing my view of Cindy's actions in Texas. I find her to be pathetic. That is how strongly I feel about using her son's death as a tool to express her views.

Ya know, now that I think of it, the words "potty mouth" sound nasty. Think about it. Potty is pee or poop. So someone would have pee or poop in their mouth? Nasty. I am not into such an alternative lifestyle.

By the way, nice way to start off meeting one another. I can see this will be a wonderful mental workout.

Sarcasm is a bullying tool in case you did not know. When one is sarcastic, one does not want to be truthful. You mentioned sarcasm, it was lost in your post. You are entitled to your views as much as I am entitled to my views. You continue to pottymouth Mrs. Sheehan by calling her pathetic when you do not know her.

You read too much between the lines when you thought of "potty mouth", you think of defecation or urine whereas I do not. "Potty mouth" for me means swearing or cursing out a person. You may not be into an alternative lifestyle like I am, que sera sera. To each their own.

Yes you are right, I just know we will get along famously as intelligent stimulation is wonderful in a debate as long as pottymouthing isn't involved.
