I know that all parents-to-be say it like that. That's ok.Yet they'll insist it is a baby, "my baby," while patting her tummy and certainly not say, "my fetus." And to them, they do have a baby. Try and tell them differently they don't and not something they'll have once it pass thru that magical barrier and become a baby.
Now you try to ask a pregnant woman "how is your baby?". She would respond, "I don't know because my baby has not been born yet".
