Amen! And He could have called ten thousand angels, but instead He died, for you and me, Y. Praise God!!
 
I am very grateful that He died for me, so this way I may get to know Him better as my personal Saviour. The Greatest is Love. :)
 
Jesus died for me because He saved me from the real hell; He saved me from many stripes! :)

Jesus' death can't save your soul, but His blood can save your soul.

What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the Blood of Jesus! What can make me whole again? Nothing but the Blood of Jesus! Oh! Precious is the Flow, that makes me white as snow! No other Fount I know, nothing but the Blood of Jesus!

Praise the Lord for the Cross!!!

Jesus is resurrected, yes. But He had to die first, then He resurrected. This is the order:

Jesus was crucified on the cross.

Jesus' dead body was put into the tomb.

Three days later, Jesus was resurrected, alive.

40 days later, Jesus ascended to Heaven (still alive).

Jesus is still alive, in Heaven. He will never die again. :)

He died and rised, it still showed He never really died in first place.

Jesus died on the cross during the crucifixion. During the three days in the tomb, His body was dead, cold and stiff.

Am I misunderstanding your statement?

If he walked with his followers for 40 days and nights, he never really did died. His body may died but He got up and walk away with his own physcial unless u tell me I am wrong? God never dies.
 
Hahahhaa, yeah I get your point and it is tricky way to say that. True, God never dies. As death, Jesus fought against death, hell and sin and won the victory, and those who believes and received Christ that death, hell and sins can't hold you, as we are free from the power of darkness.
 
A few verses from Matthew 27 & 28

Matthew 27:50 "Jesus, when He had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost." He died.

Matthew 27:59-60 "And when Joseph had taken the body (Jesus' dead body from the cross), he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth. And laid it in his own new tomb . . . and departed." Jesus was buried.

Matthew 28:2, 5-6 "And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord decended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door (of the tomb), and sat upon it. And the angel answered and said . . . Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. . ." Jesus rose from the dead.

Matthew 28:9 "And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them. . ." Jesus is alive!
