Trader Joe's? We shop there sometimes. The store is only a block away from our apartment. They have some interesting foods that you don't see anywhere in many stores. They also have pretty good prices, too. The food at Trader Joes' is cheaper than Safeway or QFC grocery stores.

Me and my parents have shopped there many times when I was growing up in California. :)

Here's the Trader Joe's web site at Welcome to Trader Joe's - Your Neighborhood Grocery Store

Enjoy! FYI, it's a national store chain.

There are no Trader Joe's in my area. :dunno:

duh

Tennessee have Kroger, Piggly Wiggly, Schumuck, Walmart.....

Just like California got Ralph's.

And in Washington DC have Safeway

Yes when I was living in CA I go there once a while. EVEN I went there this summer, boy I was so THRILLED! LOL! I wish we have one here! DANG it! I loved their yummie food and fresh fruits/veggies!

I even did wrote a card said please set one up in Rochester, NY!!! NYC have one, and I felt that is not fair to us...so wait and see if they gonna build one or not.

That's cool! Yeah, it'll be nice if they open one in Rochester. I agree with you that they got yummy food and such. ;) I noticed that they tend to open them in cities where there's a lot of health freaks or high income residence, even tho the food is pretty cheap for a "health" food store.

For example, Cheerios at at a grocery store cost around $3-4 bucks. They have their own brand which is same as cheerios and it's only $1.99.

I'm sure they might decide to open stores in Canada in near future, deafmonkey.

oooohh there is one next town to mine town about 20 miles east
i know this town as well i use to live in that town for 19 years smile

am writing down the address off the website
hope to visit them some day

^^ Hope your visit to Trader Joe's will be a great experience. ;)

I haven't tried their cereal yet. But I wonder if they both taste almost same thing?
I do miss having chocolate covered with raspberry or orange sticks! DHB and our son loved the pb cups! I did looked for some but I guess they were out of it. or they no longer make them.

The cereal taste the same. ;) Anything that has Trader Joe's brand tend to be cheaper like any food store have their own brand but still cheaper than Safeway or QFC which is nearby here too. I hate when some big grocery stores rip you off with high prices on the food.

Winco Foods is the cheapest in WA state so far I know. Too bad it's far from where I live. :(

I used to visit Trader Joe's in California and other states. Now they just opened its first store in the Atlanta area two weeks. Another one is scheduled to open soon. I guess we will have at least ten stores in the next several years. Another one is in the works in Charlotte (NC).

Trader Joe's is a division of Aldi Group which has stores throughout the United States.

I didn't know that TJ is division of Aldi. We do have that here..it is OK. I prefer TJ. :)

There is a rumor that a TJ's is opening up in Columbia, MD near my home. How can I find out if that is true or not?

My favorite foods buy are the frozen eggplants, Greek pizza, and Chinese Chicken Salad. I should go this weekend to buy those foods. Thanks for the reminder!!!! Forgot all about going there. Guess it is cuz the closest one to me is like 30 to 40 mins away.

TJ is :thumb:
