I knew a lady who was married 3 times.

Her first husband and her were married 10 years, had 2 children. They divorced because she was having an affair with a man who worked with her husband and socialized with him.

She left her 1st husband for that man, and married him. they were married for about 20 years. Then she had an affair with another man who worked with her 2nd hsuband, and socialized with him too.

She married the 3rd man (While the 2nd man married another lady) and was married for a few years. Then her 3rd husband had an affair with her 2nd husband's WIFE! And she left him.

The 2nd husband's wife said she wanted a divorce, but then decided to stay together. The 3rd husband asked the lady to stay with him and she said FUCK IT, and moved 400 miles away. The 2nd husband and his 2nd wife later got divorced (she was a biatch anyways.)

This lady, is my GRANDMA!!! :) Whatcha think?? lol.. Its all true, too. 1st husband is my grandpa (who passed away in 87) and the 2 kids are my dad and his bro. The 2nd husband I call him grandpa because I was 3 when my paternal grandpa died. The 3rd husband was a creep, he hit on my mom. :)

bleh this is all confusing :dizzy:

but of course, I have heard similar stories like this before but none of my relatives ever planned to have an affair (or so that I think) but to tell you the truth, my mom has been married three times but it's not that she's a bad woman or anything...she's really nice and gentle, really. but has some bad experience in relationships with men...she has bad experience when it comes to trust and faith and some guys she was with were often pissed off and yell alot and shit like that...first guy she married had an affair with another woman but won't admit that he did anyway..because some of her friends called and warned her about him being with other women and stuff but she wish she didn't have to believe them but it turned out to be true when she searced in his wallet and looked at all the receipts he got...flowers, chocolates, clothes, etc...they all werent' meant for my mom but for another woman! the first man she married wasn't my dad but it was my sister's father, actually. so yeah that would make her my half sister but she is my real sister in heart anyway. the second husband she married was my dad, of course my brother and I have the same father, so my brother and I are very much alike in some ways...expect that he is deaf lol so my mom and dad had an divorce when we were in 2nd or 3rd grade because of his temper problems and so around 1995 my mom married another man, who obiviously has a temper problem and was pretty violent then but my mom stressed enough trying to find an soultion in her marriage and doesn't want a third divorce, so for almost 10 years they struggled with problems that were in the past and some in present, etc they went out to get alot of help and therapy for their problems and now my stepfather is doing okay than ever...but he isn't a fun person though...but he does do alot of things for us though. like he bought us some new computers, a couple of cars and other things that we really need, you know? so he helped us alot, even though he may be short tempted and childish, but he's trying his best to be more of an adult though. I think he's handling it pretty well anyway.

many people have bad experiences in some relationships, and I thought that maybe your grandmother is in part of this, so maybe she has problems with men in the past and maybe she is doing better than ever, you know? of course, you gotta admit that no one's perfect for any relationships.

I would say you have One Big Family that for Sure!

Thanks for Sharing this with us. :ily: *Hugs*

Interesting -- my husband's ex wife and he both were married for 9 years before she had an affair with husband's best friend from work. Husband left her and she married the guy who she had the affair with. (they're still together - 7 years now)

My husband and I have been married for 6 years come August. :D It's his 2nd marriage and my 1st. ;)

My uncle's mother-in-law was married 3 or 4 times, all of her husbands died.

No, they weren't murdered, just bad luck.

Ever see So I Married An Axe Murderer? Hehehe!

Well, I don't know if I should say like this but its true lol

Ummm, my grandfather had been married for four times!! (or should I say 5?)

His first wife, he had no children with died of TB, and he married to second wife but he cheated on her, and made my 18 years old grandmother pregnant, and he want to save his reputation and married her without having a divorce from his second wife!!

Unfortunately he got caught for bigamy and went to jail for 9 months, and their "So called marriage" was cancelled by Court order, which means my Aunty was born illegitimated out of wedlock!

On his released from prison, soon after, his original second wife commit suicide by jumping out of high building, but there was a rumour spread around that he push her off but no proof, he was widower at the age of 22, he was free to marry my grandmother again, this time is proper way!! ha ha

Their marriage was disaster and they fought each other like cat and dog, and there were some tales print in their local newspaper about their arguments, as I remember reading some from my grandma's stuff box, but at that time I wasn't reading well, I would love to go back to Wales, UK to find these paper clipping from the library to find out more about their problems hee hee!!

They got seperated for about 10 years until they agreed to get divorced. Grandfather got married for the 4th time and died in car crash in six months later!! My parents weren't told about their marriage!!

My Aunty went to apply for her birth certificate before she emigrated to New Zealand and was ashamed to found out she is illegitimated! Funny how times have changed alot in old days huh?

whew. these are the reasons why i don't want to get married! :) If people back then were that bad (and look at how society viewed divorced people back then) then how do you think modern day marriages will turn out? bleeh. :)
