Has anyone trained their dog to use a litter box?

there is a beautiful Apricot Standard in one of my agility classes-

Marty will probably fit into a more regular potty schedule once his system is off the meds and normal again.

This is what I am hope will happen , he has week left to go!
He had to go on a new antibiotics as the first one was not working , this will made it about 3 weeks of taking antibiotics ! I hope he will not get a yeast infection from being on antibiotics so long! :(
Marty has gained about a lb ! hooray! The trainer will start working with Marty and me on April 27 . Her husband will be able to give us a certification to show that we're team!

:) Good luck for you and Marty!

Beach girl, what trainer forum you on?
I'm also on Dogwise.

I'm on poodleforum.com most actively, and on a couple of Yahoo lists for agility and obedience, although I haven't participated on those for a while. I should check out Dogwise; I've read there a time or two but never registered.

I have a couple shelves full of books on agility, obedience, and general information about dogs, and a basic agility set-up in our back yard at the beach house. So far we haven't competed, but that is my eventual goal.

Whatdidyousay, congrats to you on getting started with your training and getting certified as a team. That's an important first step!

Pippin is acting as a hearing dog right this minute. He is informing me, at the top of his barking voice, that there is thunder outside. Thank you, dear, and that's ENOUGH, now!! Casey doesn't care a bit about thunder, but he is usually the first to let me know that someone is passing in front of the house, or ringing the door-bell.

Takes the two of them to do the job! ;-)

:wave:Beach girl

yeah, Poodles are cool-

I really enjoy agility and have taken many classes over the years but have not yet competed; have also taken lots of Obed., some Rally, tried cart, herding, Triebbal, nosework...fun-

our agility stuff outside is unfortunately getting sleeted on at moment...

EEWWWWW! No sleet in April, it shouldn't be allowed!! Where do you live??

I'm in Virginia right now (beach house is in N. Carolina), and it is raining here, but otherwise lovely. Very, very green at the moment, and all the spring flowers are out. I love when spring comes in such a rush.

wow, green-ness.....

am in WI
there is actually a Winter Storm Warning out for parts North of us.
yesterday it was snowing in my area for bit in morning.

I remember going to university exams in June in the snow...Central WI

I've never been to VA but was in the Carolinas and Smokey Mnt's National Park - gorgeous!

Dogmom, I have relatives in the Cumberland area, as well as the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I grew up in the southern corner of Michigan myself.

I am staying in the Mid-Atlantic area, forever 'n ever, amen. Not at all interested in moving back to anywhere where they have to put red metal flags on the fire hydrants to find them in winter!
