A lot of people get dumped around the holidays time. There seems to be a surge in break ups in Nov-Feb... It's also known as the "engagement season." So I guess it's either break up or propose.

This seems to be a weird Thanksgiving...

My ex broke up with his girlfriend and kicked her and her 3 kids out yesterday.

Just woke up to see a pile of clothes in front of my neighbor's house. Later on, his girlfriend picked them up and put them in her car and drove off. Found out that he broke up with her and kicked her out.

My friend texted me saying that her boyfriend wants to move out and she is freaking out.

What is going on?

Are you talking about your ex husband?

As the story goes, Thanksgiving is, unfortunately, about venting one's frustration(of their personal choice) to the nearest person without regard for reason, accountability or that person's feelings. Lets face it, would it really be Thanksgiving if someone didn't get insulted?

I'm not sure why this is, but it's a trend that has been going on for a long time.

It probably has more to do with the fact that it's hard to keep up multiple secret relationships when the holidays roll around. How do you explain having to work on Thanksgiving day or Christmas day?
