I am not Irish. :roll: I just don't want to get pinched. When I was a kid, I did not understand why some of the girls or boys pinched me in elementary or high school. Ouch! It does not matter if you are Irish or not. You still need to wear green, even a little bit green somewhere in your appearance. :) So today I am wearing green tops and green earrings. That way no one would not dare pinch me. :D

I never thought of that. I do have a temper flare up when I get upset. So maybe you are right. I might have a little bit Irish. :shrug:

My son pinch someone today at school because of this stupid "irish pinch" He told me he got in trouble with his teacher because of that. Said that he was just having fun with his friends. They pinched him because he wasn't wearing green. I couldn't find anything green for him to wear today.

But neither was he. You are only supposed to pinch someone who is not wearing green if you are wearing green. And you aren't supposed to pinch so hard that it hurts.:giggle:
 
I don't know the whole story, this is just what he said. He told me the whole class was doing it but he got in trouble because this girl told on him.

All conceptually based, but "not" is same as don't here.

the safe sign is exaggerated, and "not" or "don't" is not that exaggerated, again, conceptually based.
