Thanks for your birthday wishes everyone.

I was in California with my bf, and yes, I met R3na3blyth3 and her bf last Sunday. It was neat meeting them before heading to Eureka and the Redwoods. We didn't camp there, but stayed at a motel in Eureka and visited the redwood trees and the coastal highway.

One advise to y'all... NEVER try to drive the famous Calif Rt. 1 in one day. It is full of serpentine hairpin turns on the cliffs over the Pacific Ocean.

We spent my birthday in Muir Woods, and hiked Mt. Tamalpais. Then we spent the rest of the day in San Francisco. We stayed at Russian Hill. We visited Chinatown, Japantown, Fisherman Wharf, Little Italy and then ate at a thai restaurant for dinner. It was nice.

This morning, we woke up early, and left the hotel to go to see Alamo Square, then the Golden Gate Park, to see the Japanese tea house there. It was an awesome Japanese garden there. We had to head back to Oakland Airport, then flew back to SLC, which we arrived just less than an hour ago.

Kootchie, Happy bel8ted birthday! I'm glad you had a great day and you guys had the opportunity to meet ReneaBlyth and her bf. :) Great picture! I just saved it in my folder. :hug:
 
Koochie!!!! Happy Birthday !!! lucky you just had nice trip... its denfinately my turn.. ( :dunno: ) when will i go on trip.... lol..

I am considering to name new dog as soon we will get.. Koochie... hehe
