Happened to my hubby today - nerve paralyse

Good news, it´s not tick bite!!!!!! Phew!!!!

The result saying that it´s something do with his stomach ulcer infection, that´s how affect his nerve system. They gave him tablet.

After the result comes then he received an examination from 3 different doctors to make sure it´s stomach ucler infection or not. 2 of them said it´s do with stomach ulcer infection but one see different.

One of them questioned my hubby when is his last visit to Dentist.

His last visit to Dentist was last week & have it drilled.

The doctor is still examine on him either the dentist is the responsibly or not.

The professor will examine my hubby himself when he receive 3 different opinions from 3 doctors. Wait & see.

My hubby is not allow to drive, work, stress for 6 weeks or until his nerves paralyse is healing. My hubby hate to be lazy... he love work work work... The doctor warned him that he has to stay in the hospitail for 6 weeks if he´s stubborn.

The nerves on his left face (from half chin to forehead) is dead (its´not permanently). They massage his face every day. It will takes 4 to 6 weeks time to healing his nerves paralyse.

My hubby is an oral but it´s hard for him to speak well on right mouth because his left mouth is paralyse. My boys can sign which it´s good. I asked my sons either they understand him or not but they said that they understand him because they used his voice (but not 100%). The doctors & nurses understand him hardly, sometimes yes and sometimes no.

I´ll update here when I get any more news...

That is great news I am so glad it isn't tick related. that kinda scary if you asked me. but, I am glad they will be helping him to get better and I do know it takes time to heal and get himself back to normal. You been a real good wife/mother for standing by your husband, and your children. I know all of our Prayers have helped you in a big way. :fingersx:

If the Dentist is at fault, You could sue and get a lot of money to paid off hospital bills and time off of work that you and your husband took off and pain and suffering too...Let us know more details.

I got bit by tick 1999 at Stone Deaf club's world party in Arkansas. Had the donut shaped mark on my leg but my dr says im still negative on Lyme disease.

And I wish hubby recovers well.

It's sure good to see you back here and I was getting a bit worried about you and your husband, glad to hear that everything is ok and do hope his recovery is a speedy one...

Update:

No, it´s not dentist´s responsibly... Yes, of course we would sue the dentist if he´s the responsibly but he is not.

My DH will leave hospitail tomorrow.

He must stay in the house up to 4 to 6 weeks now. He is not allow go outside when the weather is windy or cold.
He´s not allow to drive anywhere. I drive him to doctor for treatments and also facial massage.

The doctor said he is still working on my DH´s face to find out where it comes from. Nobody knows where it comes from but lucky is it´s only mild stroke.

It will take 4 to 6 weeks to cure nerve paralyse only if he massage his face himself everyday.

My boys are prepared to surprise him tomorrow. They draw picture with "Welcome" (of course it´s English) and balloon front of our house door. They are happy to have him around tomrrow.
 
That sure sounds wonderful that your husband will get to come home where he can fully recover with the aid of a caring and loving family...I'm sure your boys will be anxious and thrilled to have him back home...as much as you will be too! :)
 
Update - not good new!!!

He left hospitail this morning to look forward to stay in the home with us while my boys were in the school. They draw the picture "welcome" for him and balloon front of door to welcome him.

Few hours after lunch time, it was happened again. He has a circulatory collapse and rushed to hospitail again. They found out that he has the problem with heart rhythum. That´s why his heartbeat irregularly and faster. They gave him medicals to brake his heart and dilute his blood.

He has to stay in the hospital for other week.

Oh my dear!!! Why again!
 
Oh dear, perhaps he is not ready to leave Hospital this soon? Hope Professor will take extra care of him.

Yeah, he was examined from head to toe that his heart was okay but nerve paralyse on his left face.

My hubby receive an electrical treatment to cure blood vessels today to avoid heart attack, blood clots, etc in the future.

That´s why I requested ambulance men to transfer my hubby to other hospitail accord my hubby´s wish. The reason we do it because we need to receive other opinions from doctors to compare with the professor and doctors from other hospital where he received his facial treatment.

First of all he need treatment to improve his heart then..........

I remembered one of 3 doctors´s suspection about dentist condition to wake us up. One day after that the professor examined my hubby and said it´s not dentist responsibly. I requested one of 3 doctors´s answer why he´s suspect it´s dentist´s responsibly in the first place. His respond to my question is it´s only “suspection” and check until 100% accurate or not, that´s all. I asked him for his opinion about one professor & 2 doctors but he say nothing then said that the professor & 2 doctors could be correct about stomach ucler infection, then walk off.

I talked my German friends about this but they were not surprised because every doctors protect each other´s side against their patients when the problem comes. It helps nothing when I look for other opinions because they will request my hubby´s result before examine him. It´s no good to deny them that we dont have any result because they will check with my healthy insurance first before examine my hubby. To get other result to prove it´s dentist´s responsible is not cheap. Healthy insurance would not cover the cost to get new result if we look for other opinions since my hubby already has the result from professor at other hospital. The reason, why I requested ambulance men to transfer my hubby to other hospitail because I need new result from them to find out since he has a new problem is Heart rhythum. The healthy insurance can´t do anything to charge me the cost for new result because my hubby has 2nd problem is Heart rhythum. The doctors already requested me to give them his result where/how he received the treatment from doctors at other hospatail. Which tablets, they gave him etc etc etc. It look no good chance to prove that it´s dentist´s responsibly. I already talked a lady doctor about his nerve paralysn and my suspection etc. She said she will examine him when the electrial treatment are over.

I had the feeling it´s dentist who is the responsibly to cause his nerve system but with heart is a different subject.
 
I will continue to pray and think about your family and your husband...that they'll find the source of his problem that is causing him to feel this way...please do hang in there Liebling, as hard as it may be to be frustrated with not knowing what is causing this, do not be discouraged but be of strong faith and I'm sure these 'good' doctors will find the reason behind all this so your husband can truly get well and recover soon!
 
Update:

My hubby came home from hospital last Saturday. His healthy goes improve now but he has to be rest to avoid from stress etc.

His nerve paralyse on left face goes improve now. He massaged his face himself everyday. The doctors are very pleased with him and his facial. Normally he should visit to doctor for massage every 2 days but they told him that he can do it himself because he did it very well. I´m proud of him to willing to improve anything.

I accomplied my hubby to eye specialist yesterday and today. She said that his left eye is infection due nerve paralyse. It will take weeks to improve. I seal his eye with liquid every morning and night.

Dentist subject:

As I told you an earlier post that my hubby was transfer to other hospitail. Well, I gave doctors the result where my hubby received his nerve paralyse treatment.
Few days after that electrial treatment is over, I received the other result about his heart rhysum saying that it´s nothing do with nerve paralyse. ***sigh*** I asked them to examine his facial for the reason I want compare because of our suspection against Dentist. Their replied is: It´s not their task to examine nerve paralyse but heart and said that they are not allow to get new result for nerve paralyse without get the permission from Healthy Insurance. I requested them to call Heathly Insurance about their suspection etc... but they said that what the doctors said about nerve paralyse could be 100% accurate.
We went to Healthy Insurance yesterday and told them about our suspection and the reason we request renew result to examine his facial. They check the result and told me the same as what the doctors from other hospitail said. They explained that it cost alot of money to order expert to examine his facial. It means that we have to pay ourselves. They said that they have to beleive the result what the doctors wrote about him because it´s their duty to write accurate and honestly. ***sigh***. We can´t do anything and also can´t acheive to pay expert to examine and make a new result...

IMPORTANT is: I´m happy that my hubby is well and his healthy goes improve!!!

I´ll go back to work again end of October to leave my hubby alone with my sons. I explained my sons to not stress him etc. My hubby will go back to work on November.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery from your husband. Something I wanted to add was about what you were saying about the dentist. I have seen something similar happen before because of a reaction with novicane used to numb him. A few months ago I had a cavity filled and my face continued to be numb days afterward. I started researching it on the net and found about the novicane. Fortunately, everything came back shortly afterward 100%.

Also, I took someone I know to the dentist last week. She had a toothache that really started to hurt and said her face felt very strange. When the dentist did an X-Ray, it showed that the infection in the tooth was touching the nerve. That was causing a numbness and limited mobility in the right side of her face. The dentist said the feeling could return next week, 6 months, or a year later. There is no way to tell. Fortunately, she is already seeing some improvement.

I am not a medical professional and what I'm explaining is just what I've seen before. Please don't take my experience as any type of medical advice. Again, best wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery to your hubby.
