Guy gets custom license plate "STOWLN" for his car.

this true happened to me last april 2006 when my car was stolen.

little background first, when I reported it stolen, two (one that could sign) officers came, didn't filed the report because they assumed it was towed .. :roll:

anyway they got my number and left. the next day, one of them who came over my home called me (via relay), had to ask me again what my plate license was..

I SAW YOU.

he went on: yes I know you saw us yesterday but I didn't get your plate license and I need it today.

yes, it's I SAW YOU.

I'm sorry opr, what did she said?? oh ok I'm sorry, speak directly. alright ok. ok um. what did you said? it's because she sa um, erase that it's because you saw me? (chuckles) ..

no, you asked for my plate ... I SAW YOU!!

ok ma'am, I understand you're upset that your car may be stolen. the signing police may did not catch it so could you please repeat it for me so I could record it in our system in case we find it.

for chrissake, my plate STARTS with I...goes next to S...then A... and W....Y...O....U.... gotcha??

ah. gotcha. (chuckles) that's funny. thank you ma'am. have a good day.

argh. now I can imagine if I've still had that plate and someone tried to report on me, would have the same problem.. and eventually hungs up and I never will be in trouble. :giggle:

yes. I had a license plate that said I SAW YOU for three years until it was stolen. however, that conversation I posted wasn't the exact, only remembered it top off my head - I still have the transcript of our conversation somewhere. I thought it was funny.

I can take picture of it for you if you insist. :)

i remembered that i was driving my motorcycle and spotted one SUV's plate license said, "YOU FAKE". I was like, "huh?" :crazy:


i imagine of myself in that situation:


Driver: Yo, have you see my suv with you fake?

bystander: you fake? me fake, fuck you.

Driver: no no, not you fake.

bystander: WTF!?! you call me fake?!

Driver: [groan] [flip phone, dials police]

Police: Hello, this is police, how may i help you?

Driver: i need to find my suv with plate license said, you fake.

Police: Im sorry, Im fake?

Driver: No no no, not you fake

Police: Pardon me, What is up with you fake.

Driver: [thinking- aw fuck it] never mind.
--hanged up-- walks away and looking around.

Haha, Now that is even crazier.

Over the years, I've seen a lot of different personalized license plate that has odd words or some funny words on it. It always amuses me. It may be cool to have a personalized license place but I don't think I would want to have one that would give me a hard time to explain to a police if my car were to be stolen.

Of course, Everyone has to use common sense to know which is proper and which isn't. :)

Thats why i dont want personalizad plate license. Whatever it is on, leave it be.

i will do my personalized on my STUFFS such as my coffee mug, softball bats, and etcs.
 
NorCal20, I have a personalised licence plates, LOL. Haven't gotten it yet though, still waiting.
