Gun nuts? You mean like our Founding Fathers who included the Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights? They were the ones who believed guns in the hands of citizens were necessary.

No one said that guns were the only solution. They should be used as a last resort only.

That was after British invasion. So the 2A actually means that you have rights to defend yourself from an enemy outside of our country, not from our own government unless it's a tyranny which will never happen.

What are you trying to say? That if a peaceful protest is not successful and the government refuses to make changes at all, we should use guns as a last resort?
