Oh don't forget the pure maple syrup! Better let me bring it from St Jacob's!
Maple syrup ...

I'm always hunting for a good fine maple syrup! :mad2:

The Farm Pantry has been voted the world's most delicious maple syrup and I always bought their maple syrup. St Jacob's is only a city bus ride away from Kitchener, ON where I previously lived. My family still lives in Kitchener and I will be going home for Christmas, you bet I will be asking them to please pick up a big tin for me to bring back to Toronto.

The biggest tin can go for $75 CDN but remember they last a year and can be frozen.

There's Light, Medium and Amber - I always go for Amber as it is excellent for pancakes, adding into brown beans as well as adding into other food such as apple pie/ apple crisp. Oh it thickens when it cooks. Brown beans tastes very good with amber maple syrup!

When I make brown beans, I soak the beans overnight so there's no gassy feeling.

Any Grade C's?

Grade A is Light
Grade B is Medium
Grade C is Amber

We both prefer Grade C which is Amber.

USA uses the ABC grading system, Canada uses the colouring system.

Cool, Grade C is pretty hard to find in Colorado.

Here, everyone prefers Grade C as we use this a lot in our cooking plus it is wonderful for making hot toddies as well.

Restauranteurs buy Grade C by the bulk because light and medium just don't taste good with eggs, bacon/sausages, home fries and pancakes. Yes, I drown my brekky with maple syrup.

Grade A and B is reserved for older people who cannot tolerate the strong sweet taste. It is also good to make candies as well. Maple candies, yum!

DO WANT, buckets! I'm happy to live on East side. You're just right in my backyard! well er... it's a long drive! I don't like Light syrup... Vermont syrup is way too light for my taste. I prefer either B or C depending on brand.

Would you be able to send me one from Canada to Australia? :hmm:

I could definitely send one over to my boys!!

It is a great idea to exchange international food!

ha ha first of all, you and your girl look cute!! glad you did try this and you like it. I agree i will add butter on it to help the flavor better. ha thanks for taking your time to videotape of yourself. thats so awesome!

However, what hell is vegemite? Sorry I didn't read the whole this thread!

Wonder It is same with my favorite "Nutella"?

:)

Dixie, Awesome for your vlog of showing vegemite. I never taste it yet.

Will US custom allow JClarke to bring some vegemite to enter USA?

Jiro, Why don't you like it?

I can get durian here as well.Wager it's more abundant in Vancouver due to the larger Asian population.

If I recall correctly, one of my friends started gagging when he ate it though.
