Anyone tried the GTA III triology on the 360 yet? I'm playing GTA San Andreas on my 360. Whoooa the visual difference is stunning when set on 1080i on my Sammy HDTV comapred to a year ago with the original xbox and crappy RCA XL100 SDTV. The 360 controls will sure take a bit getting used to it compared to the original's Controller-S.

and any PS3 guys tried the GTA triology on the Pureisutēshon Surī yet?

Not GTA, but Halo. When I played Halo on the 360, I was amazed at the improved graphics. I figure it is mostly the component cables and the HD tv I was using. Years back, when I was playing a whole bunch of Halo on XBOX, it was using composite.

yeah doc, it does make a big difference in the graphics. The RCA XL100 was connected to a RF adapter since it didnt have the composite inputs. The Sammy 940mw has all available inputs except HDMI and boy GTA SA was sooo clear on 16-9 widescreen and it was pure eyecandy to see it on the Sammy's screen. Now I will never see an orignial xbox game on a SDTV after having my GTA experience..

For the record, I havent done Halo and Halo2 on the 360 yet.

I assume most if not all XBOX games look pretty good on the 360. I played a little Ninja Gaiden last night, and it looked really sweet.

Anyways older xbox games wont adapt to the 360 pretty well like "Maximum Chase" as that game only display 480i graphics with black bars on sides of a HDTV screen. On GTA:SA the graphics will go full 16-9 instead of a 4-3 screen.

I just looked at the back of the XBOX game cases I have. Only Psychonauts and Ninja Gaiden have boxes on the back stating what resolution it can be played in, and both games are 480p. I am assuming most XBOX games are at 480p?

when I did Maximum Chase the 360 automatically went to 480p with black bars on side of HDTV, but on GTA SA it went on full 1080 I had the 360 and hdtv set to 1080i, the 360 automatically set GTA SA to 1080i despite the game package saying 480p. weird aint it eh?

Yes, but Soul Calibur II is one of the very few Xbox titles that would support up to 720p but honestly, I've played it on my SDTV before and I think it looks tons better in 480i instead with S-video or components lol.
