Greece is not so great

Animal Cruelty are everywhere on this planet. Not only Greece, New York, Tokyo, Paris, Sydney, and every countries on this planet. I have reported animal cruelty to ASPCA, several times and they acted it quickly to save the pet for adoptions. We, Americans are lucky to have ASPCA to protect animas.
 
btw Greece is broke. They have no money anymore. Sort of...

That's right. Every country does the same thing with everything.

It's sad that there are people out there that are willing to these things to animals.

We can't throw stones, we don't do such a great job here either and I think it's disgusting. A society’s greatness or depravity can be measured by the way a people treat their animals, and it speaks volumes about their humanity, or lack or it....

When I saw the title of the thread, I thought you were talking about Greece descending into civil war. It looks very much like that's what's going to happen, with the latest gov't coalition having collapsed. Don't forget the 21st century version of the Brownshirts, the Golden Dawn group. They are doing EXACTLY what the nazis were doing, only the names are Greek this time.

I'm glad they are thousands of miles away... I can pat my guns on the stocks with confidence, just in case that comes over here. I was at a renaissance festival (I don't recall which one), and I saw a neo-nazi in full dress, black everything. He looked like he was transported here right out of a parade in the 1930s. I watched him like a hawk for a few seconds. I'll never forget how "on guard" I felt...

The Euroland is about to go bye-bye.

That's not country problem, so you will find a lot of animal cruelty in anywhere, even US too, and you will find some chained dogs in redneck town in Mississippi and Louisiana.
 
25% of people in Greece are officially out of jobs. Worse than our (American) great depression years.

I blamed on Socialism as root cause of problem.

I disagree with you about socialism and the economy in Greece is based on free market, not planned economy. Greece was hit so hard by financial crisis in 2007-2008 that caused mess with bank and the debt. There are other countries with socialist governments have lower unemployment rate than US like Brazil is one of them, so I don't think that party ideologies are part of problem, but only big problem is leadership.

many would say america is abit behind on animal cruelty, tail docking ear clipping puppy farms to name just a few rspca afraid to say or happy to say surperior..putting that aside i just seen program about bear bile these poor animals milked for bile in so much pain tongues ripped out of ducks for snacks and fin chop off shark poor animal thrown back in sea...all done in china
