a new Mortal Kombat title from Midway will be on the way this fall for your console, Xbox and/or Playstation 2 but not on the GameCube since Midway was having ecomoic problems with Nintendo and decided to cut off their games from Nintendo

Later on, somehow it seems Midway changed its mind and decided to give Nintendo another chance of having its acclaimed killer fighting genre of all fighting games ever created, Mortal Kombat 6 as it is titled "Mortal Kombat: Deception" coming to the Nintendo GameCube sometime in 2005.

Right now it will be released on Playstation 2 and Xbox during the hoilday season and for GC owners will have to wait 'til mid winter to play the 6th installment of the blood-slashing extreme hardcore kung fu fighting genre of the gaming universe ever created in years to come.

Mortal Kombat: Deception coming to the GameCube

Midway officially announces that the GameCube version of the violent fighting game will be released in 2005.
Midway Games will be bringing its latest addition in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series to the GameCube. The company officially announced today that Mortal Kombat: Deception will be released for Nintendo's console in the first half of 2005.

The franchise's recognizable characters and over-the-top fatalities will appear in the game, as well as four gameplay modes: kombat, konquest, puzzle, and chess kombat. The PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions of the game, due for release in October, will feature online play

P.S. DEAD OR ALIVE STILL RULES!

Yeah I know Gamecube is a good game system. I'm saying that the companies sometimes pissed Gamecube owners off by refusing to make Gamecube games and only make X-Box and Playstation 2 games.

Yep. There aren't really alot of "less kiddy, more adult" games for GC than Xbox and Playstation 2 does... Nintendo've always made games for younger audiences than the rest of the other audiences...and it's very pitiful that Nintendo is about to go bankrupt...*sigh*

Kewl..although have never owned a GameCube -- I have both Playstation 1 and 2. Thinking of getting a XBox one day. Wait and see.

I am thinking of getting a Playstation 2, there is alot of games I want on the Playstation 2 escapilly role playing games. As for the X-Box, I wouldn't mind buying it but there is only 1 game that I'm interested in. I don't really want to buy an X-Box for just 1 game I'm interested in.

Gamespot.com said the new MK title for the gamecube should be released around January 15th, 2005.

plus it will have more special features that weren' found in the Playstation 2/ Xbox versions.

Silent Hill 3

Right now I'm waiting to get Metal Gear Solid 3 and Jak III for the Playstation 2 around this holiday season.

You solve the problem by owening all consoles :) hehe. Actually I am a fanboy against the Xbox, but I have been close to breaking down and buying one. Not that I get to play too much. Adult life sucks LOL
