a new Mortal Kombat title from Midway will be on the way this fall for your console, Xbox and/or Playstation 2 but not on the GameCube since Midway was having ecomoic problems with Nintendo and decided to cut off their games from Nintendo
Later on, somehow it seems Midway changed its mind and decided to give Nintendo another chance of having its acclaimed killer fighting genre of all fighting games ever created, Mortal Kombat 6 as it is titled "Mortal Kombat: Deception" coming to the Nintendo GameCube sometime in 2005.
Right now it will be released on Playstation 2 and Xbox during the hoilday season and for GC owners will have to wait 'til mid winter to play the 6th installment of the blood-slashing extreme hardcore kung fu fighting genre of the gaming universe ever created in years to come.

Midway Games will be bringing its latest addition in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series to the GameCube. The company officially announced today that Mortal Kombat: Deception will be released for Nintendo's console in the first half of 2005.
The franchise's recognizable characters and over-the-top fatalities will appear in the game, as well as four gameplay modes: kombat, konquest, puzzle, and chess kombat. The PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions of the game, due for release in October, will feature online play
P.S. DEAD OR ALIVE STILL RULES!

hehe. Actually I am a fanboy against the Xbox, but I have been close to breaking down and buying one. Not that I get to play too much. Adult life sucks LOL
