Going from .MOV to .avi or .wmv

I have some videos but unfortunately they are all in quicktime's .mov format. I'd like to transfer them over to either .avi or windows media .wmv.

Does anyone know of some free software that can do this. I don't want to spend the money as its only a couple of videos that need to be done

Don't ask me, I don't know anything about computers or anything related to computers.

If you have the full version of Quicktime, you should be able to convert it to other formats.

try to find something in www.majorgeek.com that might convert it to other format. good luck.
