Ghosts/Hauntings

:Ohno: Oh no, you had to say c-l-o-w-n-s!! :Ohno:

Chris, my boyfriend, is slowly trying to help me overcome my fear of c-l-o-w-n-s but still to no avail. It is so hard, believe me! I even went to two "Cirque du Soleil" shows and they do have c-l-o-w-n-s there but believe me, it was brutal to have one besides me and I refused to make eye contact with it! :ugh: If it touched me, I'd shriek!

Chris loves ghosts and paranormals, I'm easily freaked out. I explain to him that it's because of the unknown and unexplained, I think it is unnatural. Chris, being the open-minded person that he is, he totally respects my beliefs. However, there's room for growth and curiousity as he discusses this with his friends so I do ask him questions and he is so happy to answer.

Chris provided the links for this thread and if you wanted to ask anything, he will just take over from this. He's the one to ask about paranormals and ghosts, not me!

why dont we hide behind someones couch, since its getting dark. the ghost are coming out so are the clowns.

this Ghost Hunters episode was pretty good, the BattleShip one. that ghost was playin around with the Big Bald dude and the other guy. that was pretty sweet

my good friend is very fear of clown too, can't stand them, even the movie "It" which Steven King made that movie.

I am clown! Haha.

I love going ghost hunting. Luckily there are some good spots here in Memphis. There is this abandoned aummunitions factory north of the city that is supposively haunted by a bum. I've heard there are tunnels that run under the factory where the bum kept the bodies of the victims that he murdered. I've been out there a couple of times and have been scared out of my mind. The first time I went, I was with a group of about 10 people, and we all walked around the area in the middle of night in the moonlight. Seeing this place from the gate is one of the scariest sites imagineable. :Ohno: We walked into one building of the factory and found the ground covered with old newspapers, magazines, etc. My friend ended up almost stepping on what we found to be a dog's corpse that looked like it had been viscerated. I have some pictures of it somewhere. I've also heard several rumors about cults having their little weird, freaky activites there. Maybe that dog corpse is from one of the cults. :dunno:

Im hoping to get a group of friends together some time and go back. If we do, I'll be sure to take lots and lots of pictures.

Please tell me about these. I've been to these said locations but never knew they were haunted, especially Mammoth Cave.

Ghost Haunting stories and fads come and go, but one freaked me out.

Years ago on Unsolved Mysteries they had a segment about a little girl of about 4 who could see people who died. She saw nice people and she saw evil angry people without faces. She and her father woke up in the middle of the night with scratches on them that looked like claw marks.

What freaked me out was that either the Learning Channel or the Discovery Channel, I can't remember which, did a follow up on this girl within the past 5 years or so. This girl is, like 16 now and she still sees these ghosts. Why the family didn't move I'll never know. They had mediums and professors, and researchers come to the house and one of the mediums recognized a lot of spirits in the house, including the really angry one that she didn't want to mess with.

It absolutely scared me to pieces.

Same here. I think those are just tourist stories. Just like in Charleston, SC. All the tour guides tell visitors about the old "haunted" mansions, light houses, inns, etc.

Hey! I know what you are talking about. I always wonders why they won't move out. I watched that twice because I was trying to puzzle everything. That was my mistake to watch that during at night because it freaked me out!!!!!
