:wave:hello im from Oz, a newbie to AD and recently became deaf wasnt born deaf. ive been lurking around AD site reading up on funny and more funnier discussions. You guys are a very nice and friendly bunch and im so thankful for a forum like this. I hope to see u all around and as a newbie i will be very very lost - your guidance n help would b muchly appreciated. thanks!

does anyone here have an ABI n cld tel me abou it. Im due to have sugery for it anytime this yr, but now im really having 2nd thought, i jus really dun like the sound of the external device. is it really a big difference to being completely deaf?
